Lorsque Gilbert Bécaud est mort il y a dix ans, j'ai constaté avec colère que les médias ne se sont pas particulièrement foulés pour les hommages, alors que pour Grégory Lemarchal, ça a presque éfé le deuil national (je n'ai évidemment rien contre ce pauvre gamin qui a eu un destin tragique, mais quand même, entre Grégory Lemarchal et Gilbert Bécaud, il y a pas photo !).

@jamaicabeachbum Believe me, it is worth learning French just to understand the lyrics of Becaud, Azenavour, Brel, Trenet, Ferret, Ferat. In no other language that I have mastered ( I have learned 6) can one express emotions as in French. I get very annoyed sometimes with their "off-key" singing style - but for the French the words are all. Being an Indian the French have shown me another road to emotions.
