Love this! I only wish I could play a jazz tenor sax like Benny Golson--and write jazz like him, too. Thanks for putting this up TheUntouchable57. You're a good man. Listening to good jazz makes my day.
Наконец-то Бенни приезжает в Москву, не думала, что такое все-таки случится!! С нетерпением жду его выступления 9 июля на фестивале "Царь-Джаз". Вроде как обещал раздавать автографы. Если что, я в начале очереди! :)

@2.47 the pianist plays a few notes from a well enough known piece, id recognise it anywhere, but i cant name it, can somebody help me out and identify the song title please?
@mddreiling it's actually one of those songs that is easy in theory but the emotion makes the song trust me i played this in front of my school i also did the solo.
This is one of my favorites. hanks for the upload. Sometimes, this song makes me cry cos I keep on thinking about the great moments I had in America. But in Singapore, Malaysia and some other countries will call me a gay just because I love Jazz. But they did not know that Rap also consitsts of Jazz!
@510Seankoh Dude. I'm a Singaporean. I listen to jazz too. People think it weird sometimes but they just get used to it. I'm proud I listen to jazz. And trust me, I'm way younger than you'd expect me to be.
Thanks for sharing this. This particular episode was great. Marcus Strickland played "Cherokee" and Chris Potter did an AMAZING rendition of Body & Soul. Even the close with Ramsey Lewis was hot.
Can someone PLEASE post the Potter & Strickland performances and the closing performance? Thanks again for sharing this!
