To me all the great Bond themes have been sung by amazing women. This song, Golden Eye by Tina Turner, Diamonds Are Forever and Goldfinger by Shirley Bassey. I am probably one of the few that like "Another Way To Die" that Alicia Keys did with Jack White.  Also "Nobody Does It Better," to a lesser degree but still a great tune!

Madonna's "die another day" was an INSULT to the Bond theme songs. It was the WORST Bond song EVER. "License to Kill" is big, and the vocals are large and the mood is just right for the genre. It's the quintessential Bond theme song.

Of course, Madonna doesn't have a large range of vocals, but she is definately one talented woman, especially when it comes to songwriting and composing. I thought that Die Another Day's lyrical and muscial structure was very interesting. However, it's just my opinion. :P

License to Kill is like Bond crossed with Death Wish. This was the first time that Bond did something for personal reason- they f*cked with his friends and he was going to make them pay!

Dalton was such a badass in this film! He goes from charming to ice cold in an instant- dealing brutal justice to all the scum who try and stop him. You seriously don't wanna f*ck with this man!

He feeds one guy to a shark, he lowers Benicio Del Torro into a compactor, and then he lights John Davies on fire!

Is there anyone in MI6 out there who can take this up with the Secretary of State for Defence as it is plainly wrong? Also, what is the name of the agent after "009"? Does it work on the Dewey library system i.e. "001.1"? Or is it "0-10" (which, if not said quickly, would make the agent sound as if he was trying to remember his code name or was being a bit camp)?

Someone said this film is underrated probably because of Timothy Dalton. Personally I think that Dalton is underrated. He brings a tough realism to the part that none of the others can match.

Maybe the fact that it is underrated has more to do with the director and other aspects of the film?
