@Professoranton Haha, except the part where he says you aren't a responsible adult, eh! (I don't know where he'd get that, I think you're the most self-disciplined out of everyone here.)
Yeah, I can relate to giving Gary the benefit of the doubt over and over again without receiving the same treatment back. I mean really...he's talking about destroying all life on earth and we're still giving him the benefit of the doubt. But if someone just wants to continue and try to find peace and contentment they're given a pejorative label. Thanks for the mirror.
@Barklord I get the feeling that Gary really does try to interact in a more peaceful way... he just can't get himself to stay that way. When I think about some of the responses he has given to me, I thought I felt he was holding back sometimes; he could've been a lot more insulting towards me. But at other times his behavior has been completely unacceptable, and just the idea of no longer interacting with him at all gives me great relief.
@Barklord Gary deserves empathy, every human being and every living animal does, you see, and I see that it is the ego which causes people to act impulsively, and fight fire with fire, but in the end that accomplishes nothing, I guess TheModernMystic decided to call it quits on youtube, but I think this video was quite kind. Even the worst of the worst, human beings deserve empathy, R. D. Laing for instance, treated his patients as equals, people who were equal to him, and deserved dignity.
@Barklord In his dialogue with Corey, we could see it at work again. He managed to deflect the first claim that he was a very religious man, but the second was too much and he lost it. But he really did try hard in that dialogue, until at some point it's the unconscious that takes over.
And I think Gary doesn't realize just how many people he has influenced and still influences. Lately, HeroineChurch is the best example of that. It's no good.

@tranquil87 I've often hoped he would find a woman to love.
