I cannot thank you enough for this video. The manual that came with my whirlpool refrigerator said to change the filter but not how to do it. I followed your directions and it worked perfectly; my husband was so proud of me.

SouthernBird you're welcome and bookgirlworld if you have a filter that is built in to the refrigerator then no you do not, but if it's an external filter (not built in) then yes you do, great question thank you for asking.
