These 2 are irritating to watch. This dynamic, their relationship, its foundation everything about it, thats true love. The thing he had with Lana was based on looks. The thing he has with Lois is looks and she challenges him. Neither Lana or Lois have all 3 pieces that make a true love with Clark. Hence why Lana is gone. And Lois and him arent a good fit. The only one that he truly loved was Chloe. This is true love not transient feelings. Attraction/romance have the least to do with true love

Chloe started dating Jimmy and somewhere along the line her feelings for Clark changed. I believe she really did start to love Jimmy more. They get married but at the end of s8 Jimmy dies. Many things lead up to this event, and both Clark and Chloe felt responsible. So in s9 they start to pull apart. There's lots more, but I'm out of space.

OMG this is the most heartbreaking scen of Chlark. the awkwardness, the hidden emotions, like they dnt know to say it or not to say it. they just dnt hv an explanation for how they feel but actually being closest friends wh care abt each other they shd be happy, bt that's nt what's inside. this is why I worship Chlark. I wish that could be true. I think you need see season 9. I'm disappointed with how they sidelined chloe in season 9. She has become a second -to-none in season 9. They don't have this closeness in season 9. Clark and chloe had special bond or relaionship such lana couldn't get between them. She has always been supportive and most confident and reliable person. Suddely in season 9 the writers have chloe and very diappointed with season 9. There is tension between them in season 9.

I really miss these clark and chloe moments and they made the show a worth while. I mean back in season 5, and season 6 and season 7. They were very close and he trusted her with everything. When you compare the good old days with season 9 it isn't the same. I was disappointed with how clark abaondened at the end of season 8. Now in season 9 you don't see many clark and chloe interractions. If you do there seems to be a tension between them.

One the normal person level, marring someone should make Them the most important thing in your life (which at the moment Jimmy is not Chloe's priority), and on the superhero level Chloe would probably have to dial down her helping Clark All the time ... I wish he loved her like that, but he just doesn't. :(

She's lost a lot and she just can't keep up with Clark and his destiny anymore - which is where Lois comes in. It's like cousin tag-team. They took the Family line out most likely to keep Chlarkers tuned in (guess again writers). On the other hand, keeping that line in would of been a bigger WTF. Considering family members don't go off having mindblowing kisses as another poster mentioned as the world is ending in the DP. Might also want to check out Allison's new tvguide article before implying Chloe was acting like a "ho". It explains the draw towards David. ;) As to her playing Clark for a reaction, that went both ways.

We know Chloe's feelings, we can see Clark loves her in this scene, but he still has to say it to her, for her to know it also. I think they both really care about each other, but Clark thinks that Chloe is happy with Jimmy, so he does not want to come in between. aww they are soo CUTE and PERFECT together!

Your argument is somewhat flawed considering the fact that Clark and Alica were underage and likely forged their parents signatures. After Clark comes to his senses, it would then be a fairly simple manner to get the marriage annulled. Now is it possible that Chloe leaves Jimmy for Clark? Of course it is. I don't think it would happen though considering the fact that she seems to have feelings for both them, and it would make things tough in regards of developing Jimmy and Clark friendship.
