how about a squade based game mode where out of the 6 to 12 players on a single team 2 or 4 of the players get a gun class assigned pre set but equipment and perks are chosen by the player like 2 or 4 players will be a sniper and 2 or 4 players will be assault rifles and so on.

What differentiates Treyarch from Infinity Ward? Treyarch releases patches to fix the problems with their games BEFORE they become giant issues, IW lets the problems sit till the price of the game goes back up and people start realising they paid 50+$ for a game with several glitches that IW was too lazy to patch. case and point the glitched rock on Fuel, that was around till MW2's price went back up and they got a fresh wave of complaints, after more then a year of people complaining.

I find it difficult supporting any company that would raise the price of a game before fixing its gamebreaking glitches Also no game out there should be able to jump from being worth around 20$ to double-triple that more then a year after coming out, any game that does that had better be damn near glitch free, and have a team of staff watching the community It just seems a bit too convenient to me the way they could release 2 map packs but couldnt patch any problems till MW2's price shot back up

@13jordanwhite Technically not. IW has made CoD1, CoD2, CoD4 and MW2 all of them except MW2 were balanced. Treyarch has made CoD3, WaW and BO. CoD3 and WaW were both very unbalanced and WaW wasn't as fun as CoD4. BO is very balanced but isn't that fun.

for the water map, i think it would be awesome if they had about 30-40 % of the map water, and there were boats stationed at each end of the water, the spawns are seperated by water, but there are tunnels or even the new ziplines over and under the water, there are lmg's on each boat and up to 4 people can ride in them, there are a few islands maybe one with a tower and yeah, image how cool it would be to have fights in boats with machine guns, but you would have to have boats respawn like tanks

@JNSslipknot1017 This is a really good description of battlefield basically. Apart from the fact that there is helicopters and other stuff. Battlefield is a much better game because:

1. noob tubes are not overpowered meaning they are not very often used.

2. it takes longer to kill meaning the player has to have more skill to aim

3. there are vehicles and they do not make the game unbalanced.

4. there is no overpowered gun.

5. snipers are used as what they were intended for long range combat.

@wideone3 You cannot compare Cod and battlefield, Battlefield is the thinking mans playground in large destructible maps which require more strategy than Cod. Call Of Duty is the "get in among the battle" kind of game where you can rough it out for large kill streaks that suit your desire. Both games are great and may seem similar but once you scratch beneath the surface you notice that they are nothing like each other. :-)

man, I've always wanted a Call of duty: Gulf War. It would tell the tale previous to modern warfare, and have similar features from both games. Instead of a napalm strike with a phantom, it could be an explosive ordnance strike with an F-14, etc. It would be pretty neat. Have soldiers with the gasmasks, and have generally more 90's military weaponry.
