@Mattco92 took a weekend starting Friday at about 7 and finished Sunday at 6. The actual engine was in in 3 hrs, wiring harness takes like a hour, fmic, rad, hoses, power, changing plugs, doing all the oils, mounting ecu, boost controller, guage ect. Took the bulk of the time. Fmic was about half a bottle of cc and 2 cartons haha. (had mates over).
are you aware of the hicas steering system? and if your s13 has it or not. the power steering pump is different on hicas as to non-hicas and will have to be changed to suit. another tip get a vl turbo fuel pump will feed heaps of fuel so it wont lean out on 18lbs of boost.
@brendonv101 Ripped D: I got my bike like 2 weeks ago xD Got into it basically from your take home vid back in 2010" Ended up getting a ZZR250 and redoing the head gasket etc. (Which the guy had, but no time to replace.) Was a fantastic learning experience. Ended up costing me $750ish for a 12,000km bike that looks showroom and runs amazing! Sad news about just staying with the car, but though I'd drop by and say thanks ^_^. -Chris
@brendonv101 Im from sydney and on my red p's i have another three years until i can legally drive a turbo haha! are the laws the same in perth? your vids show so many similar things im currently fixing on my car keep it up man :)
@fordmadman damn straight it is. :) I'm gonna have to be super careful driving it. 90hp to 300-350HP (depends on boost). Thats a lot of power. I worked it out. Power/ weight ratio is about 0.25hp/kg. Old setup is about 0.09hp/kg. XD
@foshizdiz tbh Im not sure. I lied, it was actually emery paper. We use it at work for exactly that, sanding flanges/ matting surfaces. I would take a guess and say it's about 800.
Nice man that's gonna be insane. nearly 4x the power...can't wait for the install vids...btw that's a farking good deal especially with all the spare parts you got
Lol see VHT night shades :)

@cklsynt yeah I made 1k profit on my bike. Definitely a good idea to buy a non runner if you're handy with a spanner.

i cant remember if you mentioned this or not.. but can you swap the gearbox with your original gearbox?
Mattco92 6 months ago
@Cchange4us removing the box today so I'll try unstick it. If I just remove after the bell housing would that be ok?
brendonv101 6 months ago
300hp upwards.. faaarrrkk
on the gearbox issue, just guessing it could be the internal selector fork.
your doing a sick job keep at it!
