  • Lol see VHT night shades :)

  • @Mattco92 took a weekend starting Friday at about 7 and finished Sunday at 6. The actual engine was in in 3 hrs, wiring harness takes like a hour, fmic, rad, hoses, power, changing plugs, doing all the oils, mounting ecu, boost controller, guage ect. Took the bulk of the time. Fmic was about half a bottle of cc and 2 cartons haha. (had mates over).

  • @STEVEJP91 it's all in and running now. Vids in about a week. Gotta be careful with what I upload. :p just in case mr policeman is watching.

  • @brendonv101

cops cant do anything unless you have a video of you being silly on the road ;)

  • @brendonv101

also how long did it take to install the new engine?

  • @STEVEJP91 Both non hicas. :)

  • @brendonv101 lol sweet as. i had tht problem biggest mind bender ever wehen its your first conversion.

  • are you aware of the hicas steering system? and if you s13 has it or not as the power steering pump is different on hicas as to non-hicas?

  • @SidewaysEntry nah in Perth we don't have silly laws. We can have any car we want on P's. G

  • @cklsynt yeah I made 1k profit on my bike. Definitely a good idea to buy a non runner if you're handy with a spanner.

  • @cklsynt sold it. Cars are safer and sorta more fun. :p

  • @brendonv101 Ripped D: I got my bike like 2 weeks ago xD Got into it basically from your take home vid back in 2010" Ended up getting a ZZR250 and redoing the head gasket etc. (Which the guy had, but no time to replace.) Was a fantastic learning experience. Ended up costing me $750ish for a 12,000km bike that looks showroom and runs amazing! Sad news about just staying with the car, but though I'd drop by and say thanks ^_^. -Chris

  • Brend mate, what happened to the bike? D:

  • lookin forward to more vids of installations and stuff :D

  • dude i wish i was you and knew how to do all this stuff....

  • @SidewaysEntry Perth. You should. :) it's not really hard at all if you have a wide range of tools.

  • @brendonv101 Im from sydney and on my red p's i have another three years until i can legally drive a turbo haha! are the laws the same in perth? your vids show so many similar things im currently fixing on my car keep it up man :)

  • Nice vids man, i also own an s13 and would love to do this conversion someday. where abouts in australia are you from?

  • @ignuz bigger brakes will come soon. That means 5 stud conversion though which means new rims so...

  • What are you doing about bigger brakes ?

  • i forgot to mention before how fucking delicious that engine looks.

how much did you pick it up for??

  • @Mattco92 :) yeah its pretty sexy. Now has no box. Vids soon.

  • @fordmadman damn straight it is. :) I'm gonna have to be super careful driving it. 90hp to 300-350HP (depends on boost). Thats a lot of power. I worked it out. Power/ weight ratio is about 0.25hp/kg. Old setup is about 0.09hp/kg. XD

  • @foshizdiz tbh Im not sure. I lied, it was actually emery paper. We use it at work for exactly that, sanding flanges/ matting surfaces. I would take a guess and say it's about 800.

  • Nice man that's gonna be insane. nearly 4x the power...can't wait for the install vids...btw that's a farking good deal especially with all the spare parts you got

  • @matty958 haha nah I'll replace them all. Was hoping no one would pick up on that... :p

  • lol i love that buy a hole engine then cheap out on a belt lolz

  • Haha put a nitros tank in that and see what it's like. Anywho do u plan on putting ceramic brakes on or do u already have them?

  • what grit sandpaper did you use to clean up the cover? turned out heaps good. enjoy your quadruple HP!

  • @Mattco92 yeah that's what im going to do.

  • i cant remember if you mentioned this or not.. but can you swap the gearbox with your original gearbox?

  • @Cchange4us removing the box today so I'll try unstick it. If I just remove after the bell housing would that be ok?

  • 300hp upwards.. faaarrrkk

on the gearbox issue, just guessing it could be the internal selector fork.

your doing a sick job keep at it!
