Giving a big middlefinger to all those guys who say "new sonic sucks". Sure I like old sonic over new sonic because of nostalgia, but the new ones aren't that bad.

i liked sonic hero's,i loved sonic riders,shadow the hedgehog,SBK,SSR,and ofcourse sonic colors/gen/and unleashed...i never played SA1 and prefer the 3d sonic games over the 2D (unless its sonic advanced) i watched every episode of SONIC X both eng and jap dub and i have no real nit picks or complaints about the sonic games i own...

When you said that, I felt like a noob because the controls are so difficult for me that I never got past the training stages. xD It just isn't for me, I guess.
I tried a sonic game out once and that was like 5 years ago... I'm gonna try out another sonic game sometime... even though I'm more of a Zelda Freak...
This is a good game that just has some really irritating flaws (but I actually liked the storybook style cutscenes).
When you hyperbole and call this the worst Sonic game ever when anyone should be capable of realizing that this is a vast improvement over Sonic 2006 and Shadow (and even those are masterpieces compared to Sonic Labyrinth) there is no reason people should take you seriously.

It has a complex but still normal gameplay for sonic games, i didnt watch the entire game so idk how it really is ^^, the last boss fight is really cool :P, and the most cool part is that you can use sonic, shadow and silver, at least thats ok for me.

This game was fun. It was not perfect, and it is very different from the other 3D Sonic games, but once you get the hand of it, it was a fun game. Black Knight is trash though, makes Sonic 06 look half decent.

The tutorial was dragged out far too much in this game. Even when you get to the final level, there's still more tutorials to do, which gets really annoying.
I actually really liked this game. I got used to the bad jumping, the story was done horribly, voice acting was bad, the missions were fun, the final boss was challenging, the graphics were great, the music was awesome. My favorite Sonic song is the main theme of this game, Seven Rings in Hand, and yes I have heard Reach for the Stars, but this one was just amazing. The Sonic Party was fun, but so many of the games had horrible controls. I didn't like the boss fights either.

Dude this guy gave some reasonable points towards the good side...but the bad points? I mean complaining about gaps on stages and not being able to "Jump" across them?...How is that a Bad point?..More like saying you con't play and your awfully shocking at hitting "Jump" at the right time.
I didn't find the pirate boss that hard... But the final boss is sooooooooooooo hard!! And another thing is that there are 2 cg cutscenes during this game. I also quite liked the style of the standard cutscenes I really enjoyed playing through this game and there are still levels that I need to somehow complete. 8.5/10

If you look at the bonus material you would know that the storybook feel of the cutscenes was on purpose so that you wouldn't forget that this is taking place IN A BOOK, also one thing you didn't mention was that the minigames didn't control very well.
I like your review style mate, but you need to work on your general critique ability. Saying "This game is great for everyone" 12 times in 2 minutes is showing that you're out of words; move onto a new subject.
I just bought the game along with Black Kinght, and I like Black Knight better. That game has better graphics, better cutscenes, and much better controls than this game. I like this game, don't get me wrong, but the controls were a big problem. Moving left and right wasn't too responsive and it felt like I had to stop Sonic completely before I could jump.
Personally I found the controls very difficult, steering left and right is a sinch, but I found jumping really difficult, becuase you have to crouch and if your running it will make you slide which make it much harder to time your jump correctly.
Need's more CG scenes, I know it's supposed to make you feel like you are reading a book but cmon... Anyways I did love the game, i don't regret buying it but like i said, more CG scenes would not hurt.
i dislike it cause the jolting forward o homing attack gives u wankers cramp. Andd also the fact that the game gives you an award for completing the game on a low level. What kind of game doesnt want you to level up?

In fact, I wound up renting the game and taking it back to Blockbuster before the rental period was even OVER. However - I agree that the graphics are FANTASTIC and that we do get the speed that we all miss. Then again, this is my own opinion. If you like the game, good for you.

this game was such a waste of money. I could have used that $1.00 to buy something! Don't get me wrong I am not a Nintenfag. This game was BAD in my opinion, there's was nothing to do except steer. I WANNA MOVE AROUND. Sonic colors is better than this and sonic colors was worth renting.

I didn't find the pirate boss that hard... But the final boss is sooooooooooooo hard!! And another thing is that there are 2 cg cutscenes during this game. I also quite liked the style of the standard cutscenes I really enjoyed playing through this game and there are still levels that I need to somehow complete. 8.5/10

If you look at the bonus material you would know that the storybook feel of the cutscenes was on purpose so that you wouldn't forget that this is taking place IN A BOOK, also one thing you didn't mention was that the minigames didn't control very well.

I just bought the game along with Black Kinght, and I like Black Knight better. That game has better graphics, better cutscenes, and much better controls than this game. I like this game, don't get me wrong, but the controls were a big problem. Moving left and right wasn't too responsive and it felt like I had to stop Sonic completely before I could jump.

Personally I found the controls very difficult, steering left and right is a sinch, but I found jumping really difficult, becuase you have to crouch and if your running it will make you slide which make it much harder to time your jump correctly.

Need's more CG scenes, I know it's supposed to make you feel like you are reading a book but cmon... Anyways I did love the game, i don't regret buying it but like i said, more CG scenes would not hurt.

i dislike it cause the jolting forward o homing attack gives u wankers cramp. Andd also the fact that the game gives you an award for completing the game on a low level. What kind of game doesnt want you to level up?

I actually don't see how you think that the controls are great. :/ Not trying to flame, but, I disagree. It's only worth a rent, barely. In fact, I wound up renting the game and taking it back to Blockbuster before the rental period was even OVER. However - I agree that the graphics are FANTASTIC and that we do get the speed that we all miss. Then again, this is my own opinion. If you like the game, good for you.
