the book didnt really touch me, neither did the movie, I liked being scared and not going to sleep with the door completely closed, because I would be stuck with the clown, and not all the way open, for fear one night i woulkd look up and he would be standing at the door with a bunch of baloons

Bill's personality in itself was okay, I just didn't like that Beverley liked him plus I felt they put too much emphasize on him being the main character, especially when they fight Pennywise.

Yes, Ben and Beverley are defnitely the couple of the book! I got so angry when she started liking Bill. Then my friend finished the book first and gave me the couple spoiler at the end. ^^ Let's just say, I "yippee"'d so loud everyone was staring at me.

I have that problem too, not being able to accept that the book is over and that it was only a books.

I disagree. I thought the movie was good even though the book was waaaaaay better. I tend to give movies based on books a little lee-way considering this was a 1000+ page book for a movie that shouldn't go over 3 hours.

But they didn't just cut stuff out, they had crummy actors and a crummy script. They could have done a much better job of it. But, whatever. It's still good as a comedy. Or something.
