@skipachoy I perfectly understand, I just precised that Leonardo's painting are very differents, he didn't use the same technic. I personally prefer Leonardo but I totally understand those who prefer Michelangelo :D And I'm sade that the painter of today can't make me dream as the painters of Renaissance do.

@skipachoy Leonardo had his own way of painting : the sfumatto. It gives to his paintings more reality. Helas, to dry his painting Leonardo used fire and that's why today his paintings have lost so much colours. Michaelangelo was not alone to paint the chapel of course. But it is obviously a masterpiece. To my opinion Leonardo and Michaelangelo were genius ans their way of painting were differents but equally excellents.

Michelangelo is better in my opinion because he was very passionate about his art.

@TheMegagamer91 Leonardo was too. The problem was that he was actually passionate by almost everything. Leonardo used sfumatto so his last panting are very different from painting of this period, Michelangelo's work was different but he was more a sculptor than a painter. And they didn't have the same conception of art at all, but I think they were both genius :D, I prefer Leonardo but fortunately everybody has its own preferences.

@DaBloodBitz He wrote in his notebooks"When I did it a little you put me in jail, now that I do it more you would do me worst". As we know he was put in jail for one reason. Plus the fact he drew Salai's ass and sex in erection... so yes Leo never claimed "HEY GUYS I'M GAY" ( it was illegal ) but we don't have serious doubt, and even at the time of Leonardo people knew he was gay like a lot of famous painter. By the 16century his relationship with salai were described as erotic

@poinkero They aren't positive though many sources suggest he was. When drawing men and women he put much more detail into the mens bodies and had a fascination with their figures. He also spent a lot of his time with good looking men in the studios and was very close to his own pupils. Their names appeared most in his notebooks.
