ANYONE: If you see no response to some posters, including gregrutz,, such people have followed me (and others) around YT on evo promoting vids with name calling, personal insults & crude obscenities and know they are on ignore. If others than them wish to make comments that are similar to theirs I will be happy to respond with "the rest of the story." But I debate only where true debate is possible, with those who are civil & objective.
Cont. Look at plant & animal fossils found all over the world that indicate the planet used to have a tropical climate from pole to pole. Notice that oxygen levels are seen to have seriously decreased - based for ex. on amber samples - from past times. Why was there gigantism with some plantst & animals as we don't see now - maybe due to more oxygen & a better climate? There have been sweeping global changes from the past. that the "experts" really can't explain. Some things to think about.
Never, or almost never, are modern animals' bones being fossilized. This is because when animals die their bones are almost always eaten or else break apart through the forces of air and sunshine. Yet there are billions & billions of fossils around the world, billions of just 1 kind of nautiloid alone in the Grand Canyone. Why is that? Since bones fossilize when buried rapidly in water and covered with sediment, it seems obvious there must have been a world wide flood to explian what we see.
@LoricaLady Er... yes they are. Fossilisation is happening all around us. Very odd for you to think it's not occuring. You only need to know a little geology to understand why one flood couldn't result in all the fossils in the world.
@defdaz If fossilization is happening all around us howz come I don't see any examples of it? It is odd of you not to understand that animals eat bones & that they degrade when exposed to sunshine, water & the elements in general. I did not say 1 flood caused every last fossil in the world. I am saying there are world wide vast fossil graveyards. Even evolutionists sometimes talk of "catastrophism" to explain changes in the earth's terrain. Look at the Mid Atlantic Ridge. Cont.
@defdaz Er...how much time do YOU spend there? I've looked at swamp floors, forest floors & the bottoms of aquariums. Nope, 0 fossils there at all. Fossils won't even hold their basic body shape. They fall apart. They get eaten. Sun, water & erosion break them down. But I already said all that. You want me to believe in invisible fossils "forming" where I can't see them. Google how fossils are formed. Give a Google reference showing fossils are forming in our swamps & river & sea beds.
@LoricaLady Why do you think a process that has been occuring since animals first started dying has suddenly stopped? Rock formation is the same now as it's always been. It's a simple physical process, just the same as fossilisation is a very straightforward physical and chemical process. There's nothing magical about it. Nothing to suddenly stop occuring. Chemistry hasn't suddenly changed. Just because you haven't witnessed something doesn't mean it's not occuring. Maybe take it on faith ;)
@defdaz Evolutionary theory is based on faith in the unseen. I prefer data. I especially don't like faith when the data goes in the exact opposite direction. The data does not show fossilzation in the way you describe. What does the data say? I asked you to give Google references. You asked me to have faith. Get real. Please give the references I have asked for and from scientific sources, even evo lit sources,, not misc. stuff on Wiki & in vids by anonymous people like the above.
I'm reading some of these comments and it saddens me to see that none of the people on the side of Creation know anything about what they're talking about. I'm not going to argue about it here though. I'd just like to point out the video half contradicted itself. It said that sometimes the skeleton survives long enough to be preserved? I can guarentee bones do not last millions of years unless very rapidly buried. This suggested it was buried over millions but it would have decayed by then.
@RandomGuyNumber2 I have a video called "weird fossils" and it mentions how frozen viruses / bacteria can survive millions of years .Some organic molecules remain in mineralized bone , it was a shocking discovery than even chunks of organic matter can survive T rex blood cells ect.. ITS VERY RARE though .
@TheIceGolem97 Science investigates gods creation and you are gods creation. God will smite you if he wwants, or sends someone to smite you whenever he pleases, because god is good.
@TheIceGolem97 She didn't deserve it. And god gives us everything, like chocolate and native american lands, and afrian slaves, and yes, slaves are ok in the bible, its stupid that people would make it illegal, it's gods will. With all the resources god grants his followers, we can make what we want, like war planes and computers etc.
@Biguspikned You should show him how god waved his hand and put fossils into the ground, for scientists to find. You shouldnt teach your cousin these weird "science" garbage, who knows, he might start unbeliving if you taught him these things.
I belong to a fossil club. Ive posted 50+educational fossil videos : field trips , beginner classes and paleontologist lectures .Search under "Dry Dredgers" in the you tube search engine to view them .A gift from the oldest US fossil club to you!
@meganfunk1 Minerals will replace decaying shells and skelotons giving an exact copy replaced by minerals .This is called mineralization (most refering to it as turning to stone) . Scientists know that some crabs can have their shells mineralised (molted when a baby ) while they are still alive (in their newly grown shell). It is tempting to want to call these modern fossils but by DEFINITION they are NOT fossils (they are not from a previous geologic time/ prehistoric).
@meganfunk1 A buffalo skeloton may be found mineralised thats 1000 years old but it or the modern day crab shell can't be called a fossil just say its mineralized . This bugs people but thats the definition .
@Albanianator The definition of a fossil is that it is before a certain date (specifically prior to history AKA prehistoric) .I dont recall how or where you draw the line . Modern day animals can have exoskeletons of shed shells replaced by minerals while they are even still alive .Its mineralization but it doesnt count as a fossil unless its prehistoric .Sort of like something cant be called antique unless its over 50 years old .
@flyingscience Yes but, since she said 3k years at least, that would mean in order for it to be considered a fossil or better yet for the decayed animal's carbon form to turn into a fossil it requires at least 3k years. You asked why the 3k years and I said probably because its the minimum amount of time for it to develop into a fossil. She didn't say prehistoric fossils are at least 3k years old, so it means if its younger then 3k years can't be considered a fossil.

Part of the definition of a fossil is that it is ancient. Fossils are being formed right now, but they are not ancient, yet.
