I'll give you the fact that St. Louis isn't the same as Canada or Minnesota as far as a hockey town, but if you live there for a few years, get to know their fans, and attend some live games, there is no way you would think of them as a team that needs to go. Sure they haven't won a cup, but neither have the Canucks, Kings, or Capitals.

That's just not possible, at least not in the near future. The Thrashers are contractually obligated to stay in Atlanta until their lease is up, which is in about another 4 years (I believe.)

There IS a fanbase here, as was evidenced in the playoff year when the arena was filling up throughout the 2nd half of the season. We just need to get back to winning and attendance will inevitably go up. Evidently Atlanta fans are fickle.
