  • that first high crotch was picture perfect if he could have stopped the scramble, i need to shoot them like that

  • I dont mind folk, it teaches the scrambling needed to take a guy down and to fight a take down but to cross over into freestyle must really hurt espeacially on the ground game and the out of bounds issue. Is there freestyle and greco for the high school level in USA or is it strictly folk until after school?

  • during a school season its folkstyle, but then after season freestyle is available

  • @brands1 in highschool there are numerous freestyle national tournaments mainly Fargo nationals

  • Jenkins made it closer than the otehr two matches, but Metcalf prevails again. Looking forward to these two battling again in the future. Great job and great season by both.

  • Metcalf is a machine! He doesn't lose any of his intensity over the course of this match. Unbelievable, considering how much energy he used to come back from that 4-1 deficit. Jenkins just couldn't keep up with him (credit Jenkins for a great season). Tom Brands has brought back the 'Iowa Way'. Iowa wrestling is going to be scary-good real soon (if it's not already).
