  • I never even realized that this is Rusty Young singing. In the early years of Poco, he never sang... Many great voices in this band. Paul, Richie, Timmy, George & Rusty too, who knew?

  • 11 Dislikes? What the....? This is a great song!

  • Fantastic! A YouTube video without a fucking commercial!

  • this makes me proud of my vinyl collection. i have 4000 45s and 75 albums. a living museum.

  • Music like this makes me cry...in a good way...

  • @Lyubov91

I told Rusty at a concert a couple of year back their music improved "the quality on my life" throughout my life. Looks like they got you too. : )

  • @PocoPortillo They certainly did! This is what I call a love song, not the junk I hear on the radio today. This song brings back good memories, too, of when I was a preteen in the late 70s/early 80s.

  • I have always wondered who did this song.

    Thanks for posting.

  • Thanks for sharing this beautiful song. I've wondered who sang this and I had no idea it was Poco. I miss music like this. Today's stuff is too filthy :(

  • oh my god, I have not seen vinyl records for ages. I loved this song. Thanks for posting this.

  • @carmichael73: I'd be very careful of what you post online. If that is not actually true, you could be facing a lawsuit for slander. Even if it were true, what does that have to do with this song?????

  • They play this song at the market, love it...I get to sing and shop at the sametime. :)

  • i have that album ^^ beast song, beast band, i learned to play it today, ...it fills me with joy!

  • okay. i'll wait and see. * lol *

  • diddo!

  • Beautiful!

  • This song used to remind me of a man I used to love. Then I found out he wasn't really a man! LOL!

  • nice:) I

  • An extremely beautiful, harmony filled vocal part, poco really created a song that will play on, no matter how much time elapses.

  • c ouldnt agree with you more

  • yeah, I think this song came out in 1978.

  • one of mine also loretta

  • arf wow i remember hearing this song as a pup growng up in the early 80's wow that was Richie Furay of buffalo springfield on lead ? i never noticed nice *tail wags* :-)

  • tfyc but its not furay singing its either paul cotton or rusty young i believe paul cotton

  • ahh ok its gota be 72 to 78 that song came out is was born in 78 i remember hearing the song in the early 80"s growing up lol

  • ace51515 its Rusty young i just looked it up :-)

  • ok thanks nice one

  • Rusty young is singing lead ;)

  • ty my english friend

  • Furay had left the band by '78-'79, when this album was released and the song didn't chart until early '79, so it's got to be Cotton on lead vocals, with Young on close hamony. Great song!!!

  • ace51515, I stand corrected. Rusty Young was lead vocals on this one!

  • Correction: furay left POCO after the 1973 CRAZY EYES album. during this time he pursued a solo album and became a christian.

this song is on the 1978 LEGEND album. rusty young sang the lead vocals. paul cotton and george were still with poco then. timothy left early on to join the EAGLES

  • It's "vinyl", btw.

  • I remember the old vinal days well!!

  • Hey, thanks for posting this great song.

  • Richie Furay had such an awesome voice .... He was a big part of Buffalo Springfield and the emerging "cosmic-american music" scene as Gram Parsons put it

  • I think this is Grantham singing lead on this.

  • grantham wasnt on this recording check my comment just above

  • i believe its paul cotton singing this version not 100 pc sure though but furay wasnt on this album or grantham

  • I was fortunate to catch Poco in concert in 1992. Rusty Young still had all his black hair. He took out the steel guitar, and they rocked this song! It's too bad somebody didn't turn that concert into a video!

  • Great song, I just wish the audio was better quality.

  • yes sorry im pretty limited to what i can do will try post again when i get chance
