Jenner's vaccine was - and still is - celebrated as a triumph of medical so-called science, in order to cover up the fact that it was a total failure and caused wide-spread ill-health, brain-damage and death.
Watch my youtube presentation 'Vaccination: Miracle or Mayhem? Part 5: Smallpox vaccination'.
Actually that's not true: Phipps lived much longer; Jenner bought him a house in Berkeley later in life. It still stands. Jenner vaccinated his kids, but none of them contracted smallpox. It's true that his wife and his eldest son died of TB; they contracted it from their tutor. And there are some risks w/vaccination, but they are FAR out-weighed by the benefits. We enjoy freedom from many diseases that our ancestors did not. I suggest you DO vaccinate your loved ones; consult your physician.
James Phipps, 1788-1808, thought to be 1st person vaccinated by Jenner. Edward Jenner inoculated his son, Edward, 1789-1810, with swinepox Nov 1791 and again Apr 1798 with cow-pox. The boy was never very well after that and died of tuberculosis at the age of 21.
"While walking with a friend one day they passed young Phipps, when Jenner exclaimed, "Oh, there is poor Phipps; I wish you could see him; he has been very unwell lately and I am afraid he has got tuberculosis on his lungs. He was recently inoculated for smallpox, I believe for the 20th time, and all without effect."
James Phipps was declared immune to smallpox but, died of tuberculosis at the age of 20. In Baron's Life of Jenner, he reports Jenner exclaiming, "Oh, there is poor Phipps..." [see text below]
1853-burial entry in the Parish Register for St. Mary's Church, Berkeley is presumed to be 'the' James Phipps but, gravesite is not known as there is no identifiable tombstone.

James Phipps: You didn't report that he died of TB while yet in his youth. And Jenner's son got the pox from daddy, too. Son died in youth from TB. Vaccines are dangerous. I suggest you don't vaccinate your loved ones.
I'm assuming you have scientific proof for your little anti-vaccination movement. A few cases of death do not negate the huge benefits of vaccinating every child.

Dr. Campbell discovered smallpox was spread by the bite of the bloodsucking insect called the BEDBUG, Cimex Lectularius.
Dr. Campbell later received Nobel Prize.
