  • My concern is the wake is causes at 1:08

  • I'm using the Sharkskin Magnum Taper and im very satisfied with my purchase. The price is rarely high, but i bought if of 50% sale for 70 bucks. It shoots like a cannon with just 10-15 feet of line out and it is very easy to pick up and even to roll-cast easier. People have been concerned about the nice that the line makes going thru the guides, but it is really not that noisy. You get used to it very quickly!

  • Ive used this fly line and was not impressed. Yes it casts smoothly and shoots well, but its loud and hard as hell on the top guide of the fly rod. There are many other fly lines on the market which are cheaper and same quality or better like RIO and Air Flo.

  • @snolover84 Ive been using sharkskin since it came out. There is no wear on my guides and its not hard on the top guide that is a bunch of bs rio and air flo are just pissed they got out done by 3m. Rio or air flo better!? They don't hold a candle to 3m technologies! Hmm lets spend 60 dollars on a line that lasts a 1/3 of the time sharkskin does STUPID!. The price is fair considering it last 3 times as long. hello no brainer there. And noise i like it! Loud no way thats majorly exaggerated.

  • Is this the Sharkskin "Trout Taper"? Is it true to line weight? Does it work well on a Z-Axis or BIIX? I understand it comes in a GPX taper. Is that better suited to the faster rods? Kind regards.

  • Thanks for the informative video. A little ironic, however, to see forward creep in a fly-casting instructor's stroke.

  • great line! and a pretty caster!
