I agree with kamikazie0282. preforming a Poomsae/Taegeuk is more than just getting through the pattern. Understanding and preforming with awareness is the entire point of Poomsae/Taegeuk from Taegeuk-il-jang to Ilyeo. All the same: understand and act.
even the first forms that you learn are still difficult, because you have to show that you understand the technique and execute it perfectly every single time. There is a lot more to forms than just getting through the pattern.

all the later patterns are really easy becausse most are decrepid old men by the time they get to 6-9th dan

i wouldn't exactly classify them as "easy"
