This doesn't pale in comparison to Thurston Harris, it's got more soul and a bit more solid rhythm. Try to imagine this was the one you heard Over and Over (Pun intended) and you may start to appreciate it. Thanks for posting this. Nice work indeed.

This isn't the a cover, Bobby Day wrote the song & was the first to record it. This is the original, Thursten Harris' 1957 version is the cover.

This is a revelation - a more rockin' hiccupy voice than the hit cover version ... and a bassier, rollin' band. Never did like the hit version much, because it was so trebly and cold.

This is the original version of the song that became a bigger hit for Thurston Harris & the Sharps. Released on the Class label in 1957, this version reached #57 on Billboard's pop charts.
