A common fault is knock sensors, if engine management light comes on it can be both throttle sensor and knock sensors that need replacing!

i had a gsi with a racing centre and irmy back box, sounded nothing like this. should be smooth and crisp when you rev it.

It's a flat plane V6, so technically you could call it a "racing v6". Flat plane engines are unusual on street cars but you can find them now and then.

They also sound 10x better than everything else!

my vectra was a bit rough revving and missing an odd beat ... new leads and a pair of new knock sensors sorted the problem right out.

it is running on 5, he revved it alot and unburnt to burnt fuel came out as a spark near the end meaning the cylinder thts nackerd it lettin fuel run into the cat and its exploding in tht, which will fuk ur cat up prity badly and destroy the catalyist within it

This sounds like all 6 cylinders. Not 5. It's also not misfiring. The muffler it self makes the gorgle-sound. I think you all are jalelous ;-)

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news here, but your Vectra is only running on 5 cylinders! Chances are it's only the coil pack, witnessed it myself many a time!

My mate has a V6 with a catback on it, now thats a sexy sound. Makes any 6 cylinder BMW sound dirty.

I think all 6 cylinders work quit well. And low rev buildup is nothing bad, I can hear he's not floor it. Just giving a little bit of throttle. That's because that sounds much better then full throttle. Also with full throttle it revs too fast to hear it and enjoy the sound.

yeah it did have a misfire the dispack did go but even after we changed the dispack and the plugs and leads at still wasnt 100%

it still had a bit of a misfire

we talked to some owners of vectras and they said on older models this 'no 100%' thing always happens

and no one knows wat it is

but thankfully we have a new car now

and its perfect

nah thats a full irmscher kit mate ive seen the receipt for it and its properly imported from germany and ive looked at the underside of the car and its a full irmscher kit mate i can assure u of that
