Stop using Warring/Paulson as a example, they were fghting in the striking division (special tournament) Erik got fucked and was sent to that division in which he was pummeled (but showed a lot of heart) against Warring. Renzo was in the grappling division and made it to the finals were Warring was. So now the rules allowed all attacks including submissions. Warring was much bigger then Renzo and Renzo spanked that ass in record time.

People expext boxers to go into MMA and face top rated guys, but no MMA fan would want to see an MMA fighter box a top boxer, why is it a one way street? Williams was never a top boxer, more of a second tier kinda guy, and he was sucsessful in his MMA fights with limited expereince, what do you want to see?
