Well, look at the image quality, it just a little bit better than Creative Vado 2nd Gen. or Flip HD. However, the price is like 20x more expensive than Flip and Vado...LOL For video camera, I recommend you to go for JVC

but as a contrast to a flip or smthg like this you have a lot of different possibilities to change the videos attitude (shutter, ...) ! and does a flip have xlr-inputs?

I’ve been impressed with what I’ve seen from this camcorder. Can anyone tell me if the movie files import SEAMLESSLY to Mac applications? iMovie 11, Final Cut Pro, Final Cut Express and the newest Final Cut Pro X. Appreciate your feedback.

If you use IS and the camera is on a tripod it will cause movement looking for it kinda a catch 22

Nice stuff but my XA10 does not have this feature. How did you do it???

@heygreg123 I took the 6.5 hours of video footage and loaded it into Premiere and then increased the speed to 10,000%. Rendered the clip and sped it up again (near 10,000%) to end up with 1 min 11 seconds of video.

great video ! Not sure why the IS would cause hops, wouldn't it be the opposite ? if this was shot on a tripod though, IS wouldn't have been needed and I think it drops a full stop on the lens.

Are there built in features for interval or time lapse shooting with the XA 10? I am looking at this camera or the Panasonic HMC 40. How do you like the infrared on the camera?
