  • he has a great voice, but he looks awkward when he moves, not very flexible, im doing this play tomorrow for my middle school and im so nervous D:

  • Sounded like they changed keys in the middle of the song. Parts are a little silly He looks like a giant..

  • its because he is!

  • and it does modulate. Music written for musicals does that.

  • i think they shouldve done some more dancing then anything, but thts just wht i think

  • I Have to sing that in a camp Tomarrow and I'm Nervous

  • that was awesome good job guys

  • hes terrible compared to ours

  • Wow. He's a tall actor. Or she may be a really short one. Either way, great job! Albert has a great singing voice!

  • Was the pit orchestra from the highschool band? the trumpets didn't sound lke it.

  • ahh this is cute! albert looks a lot like dick van dyke. or maybe its just because he's lanky.

  • wow, an amazing drummer...

  • our dance is a lot better and it's middle school

  • i have to dance to this ahhhhh haha =]]

  • He's actually not a bad dancer for a lanky guy. He can hold a tune as well.

  • How tall is the guy that played Albert?

  • hm.. the transition of the girl from sad to happy was like BAM! it was way too fast.. and albert's acions make him look more like a sexual predator than a person trying to cheer up a girl lol..

  • ah yes. during rehearsals i cant tell you how many times we called him pedo-albert.

also. its fun to watch him dance because he is so tall and i dont think he danced before previous to this. hahahaha

  • Which high school did this?

  • @mynameisumbreon well what did he do before the music buiessnes? spelling sorry

  • I think you sang a little to formally.

Instead of "take off the gloomy mask of tragedy! it's not your style,"

"take off tha gloomy mask a tragedy! it's notchure style" would have been better.

other than that, you were great.

  • Ohhh my God, ROSIE I am going to kill you! Everyone this is "Albert", I was hanging out with "Mama" and she told me about the video you posted on you-tube. I cant believe you would put this video on when I did so much better in 'Talk to me'. Come on Rosie help a brother out. You know you love that song, "Talk to me baby wont you talk to me"(sung perfectly in tune)

    Adam

  • This was pretty good. Albert was always my favorite character in Bye Bye Birdie and whoever played that part here really nailed it. (And he can sing and dance too.)

  • haha im the sad girl :)

haha i feel so retarded when i do that!

  • Hey, I really liked the whole tissue/handkerchief thing. It's great - I'd never seen it done that way before

  • i'm a sad girl in mine too :) i like the way this was done. but i like the way weve been doing it also.

  • Hehe! I play sad girl in my school's production. We just started though, so we don't have any blocking yet. I really like the way you guys did this though.

  • the house band is very good. i also like the interaction between... is it albert and rosie (i think those are their names..)

  • albert and sad girl :]

  • Albert is the leads name. Rosie is the woman he's in love with. In this song, he's singing to a girl who is upset the Conrad Birdie is going to the Army. In the movie version, he sings this song to Rosie.
