Wow! I wonder if any of those SUVs ever fell sideways on those crazy dunes :P Whatever tracks and stuff you make in the sand will be blown away, so that's interesting...the place won't be covered in tracks! xD

@ResetLiveGrow Dang, the quality and sound looks way better than just a pocket cam. are you using an external mic?

@IrishProductionsND I've only used an external mic on 2 or 3 of my videos - for the most part, I just use the built in mic. It's a pretty solid camera, I've been recording my videos in 720p, but I've had to reduce the quality in order to make the files quicker to upload.

@VersionCharged it wasn't too bad - the whole afternoon worked out to around $60 - $70, I think. It was a really fun day!

I've been considering Dubai as an option for work... I've got the skills to find work there with no trouble, but I dunno much about the place. Are there many Westerners (white boys =] ) around and are they treated fairly equally? Is English spoken my many? It is getting cheaper to live there for sure, still a bit spendy, but getting cheaper, I've been keeping an eye on that, plus the work pays well there for what I'd be doing, oilfield engineering.

@spamanator666 There are plenty of westerners living there and from what I've seen, they get treated well. Pretty much everyone speaks English over there.
