I think he had something to do with RFK's assassination. He ordered the Watergate break-in. Take a look at his connections to Prescott Bush. Then look at Bush's Nazi connections. The only good thing he ever did was starting Vietnamization and cut off China's support to the NV. He's a piece of shit if you ask me.

The United States gave him weapons to fight Iran, not the Kurds. Remember, at the time, the whole Contra crisis was brewing in Nicaragua. We had a burning urge to fight communism. Congress forbade the White House/CIA/Reagan administration from funding them. So the CIA sold weapons to Iran through Israel to raise up funds, while they were sending those proceeds to the Contras who in turn used it to buy more weapons and grow cocaine, which the CIA brought into the country ---
