to be fair you cant fault his guitar playing , i dont like his voice however , but he has always been a very clean player able to stand up with anyone in my opinion .

So close to tears every time you feel the pain in this fantastic song... Gary might not be the most technical guitarist, but as stated so many times before, you feel stuff when he plays his stuff.

That is true... but even technically, it is clear that he is no slouch. Why do you think he isn't technically proficient? He has a bag of tricks to match the best of them. Just asking by the way... not prodding for an argument or something.

Thanks so much for posting this version, which I'd never heard. It has a few little "tweaks" the other versions don't have, but is every bit as gorgeous. It is without a doubt the best solo ever played on the guitar. R.I.P. Gary. You are missed.
