it;s nice that they recovered some artifacts. it gives us some connection to how people lived back then and how it was like. in 20 years or so, nothing might not remain of the titanic.
I admit, the people who took the bell from the crow's nest and made it collaspe, what were they thinking? just take stuff that's already on the ocean floor not from titanic.
The guy who claimed to have a father in WWI, does not look to be that old. So I'm thinking it'd have to be bunk on the explosion theory. Also the fact that the Titanic was under-insured comes into play here. Not to mention, what about the survivors? They would of had something to say. It was an iceberg. Not an explosion.
RMST went on about this bunker fire for years, trying to sensationise things. It was extinquished by Sat 13th April. It was an iceberg Diebel, Dirtbag, Dumbfuck whatever your name is!!
Yep, their theory is crap. Besides, the bunker fire was extinguished the day before the collision. Bunker fires were pretty common back then. This theory was basically presented, along with this show, by the company that salvaged artifacts in response to the stinging criticism they received from the public for robbing a gravesite. It didn't help!
He said, she said bullshit is ridiculous who is this guy? If hes not a survivor or a professional then get off the stage because your no different than the average joe.
Iv done a lot of reasearch over the years on Titanic but i will not brag because there might be someone out there who knows more then i do and i can learn from about the Titanic i hope to learn more.
lol.. there may have been a fire, but it most definitely hit an ice berg haha.. how the hell do they account for everyone seeing the ice on deck and the berg passing the ship. Mass hallucination :) OR maybe it was men in black lol.. they put the subliminal message that it was an ice berg into every ones mind. :D
that hole had nothing to do with the sinking what so ever it was impact damage when the bow hit the sea bed. But i think the fire may have had something to do with the disaster. By the way WebsterJake this is a great show thanks for showing it. one of the best Titanic documentary.
@RMSTitanic87 Actually, there was an explosion, as reported by eyewitnesses, but it had nothing to do with the sinking. Rather, it was as a result of the sinking. As that part of the ship went down, the boilers exploded. But of course, that was AFTER she hit the iceberg, sprung her rivets, took on water, and sank.
I don't mind them taking stuff from the sea bed.
but from inside the ship, that is grave robbing.

Titanic's hull was already weak. Due to the steel and rivets they used. (that's why the rivets popped open.) the fire defiantly had a part in it.
and hitting the iceberg took its toll on the ship.

Wow. ANYONE could've claimed to have been a surviving stoker...seriously. And notice they don't give a name...probably because the guy had no idea.
