to be fair, i always use the hints in knuckles stages. if you know exactly where it is and get to if fast enough, you can still get a good point bonus and a A rank.

Man I remember my first time through tails's second level... I took the upper route, not knowing about the power-up and at 9:54 when you fire the rocket I NEVER could make it over that gap... took me a game over and the next time I accidentally fell down and I saw the upgrade and I was like... WHAT!? seriously... killing you for being good? not fair xD

Pumpkin Hill...man I hated that level.

Not that it was hard or annoying or anything, its just that I was scared of ghosts at the time.

Every time the hints told me to go to Church mountain, if it wasn't in the tip of the church, I would reset the stage.
