I got your point and thanks for the idea, it is awesome, thanks so much for sharing that, do not stop doing it. There are no words to show you my appreaciation.
does it really need a youtube video to show what is obvious? I do hope that he teaches in a more interesting and creative way rather than rote learning. Children need to handle numbers and I suggest using 10 Lego blocks as they can be joined in many ways and taken aprt to show conservation of number. Forget your dots and get the child an active participant.
@5education ur totally right except 1 thing. It is even better to make a picture of ,in ur case, lego blocks. From 1 to 10.
U use 1 lego block with the number 1 up to 10. Even better is to use things instead of lego blocks that are fit with the theme there working in the class. For instance in my class they are working with the theme of spring. We got in the class a flower with 1 to 10 leaves. In that case it is even clearer for the kids. In winter u can use snowman or something
Yeah, we had these for the abeka curriculum orange cards. I enjoyed those growing up. A good thing to use is one of those press and show math manipulative boards that instantly show the answer. I learned a lot from the addition board we had.
Again try musical math with sue dickson, you can jump on a number line and sing it too.
