I've never thought of the Happy Folk as they were portrayed in the images in this video. I like their innocent, happy clothing and carefree look. Also, the Strange Folk being portrayed as Killzone-esque soldiers with guns was an extremely interesting choice. Very good job. You told the story perfectly.

@Slide2671 I always found that they were very antient people. Per se, Mayan's. They had no clue about sadness, so they had no way of feeling/seeing the "Evil" of others. Once they disturbed the "Monkey" then the volcano erupted, and, everything from their civilization was gone.

@KissedByACreeper That's exactly what I was thinking. To me, it's a big allegory for the beginning and end of humankind. When we began, we were like the Happy Folk; strange, happy, dancing people. But sooner or later, we turn into the Strange Folk due to corruption, violence, and other things.

Ah so mt. monkey wasn't a mountain at all, it was actually a volcano. When the strange folk mined to deep into the volcano it caused a chain reaction causing the volcano to erupt.
