If I do recall correctly the Earth was once a swirling ball of magma. I don't think a little extra CO2 in the atmosphere is going to hurt it.

And if I am correct, the earth was like this more than 100 million years ago, so if it returns to this state, it will take another 100 milion years to get back to normal
