I don't know if it was a poor performance by Daigo, letting go off all of those combos or rather an inhuman performance by both Letif and Poongko. Poongko's quite a character, with all his red bull show, he left me with a bitter taste after he defeated Daigo, but then I couldn't be mad I he won in the end, he is pure showman, both playing and the acts he puts before the fights.

There was a rumor that the display on the monitor lags caused by the cables that were used to stream the match to variety of place. This badly affects execution heavy character like Yun & Akuma. I remember seeing Daigo missed some of his combos. Tokido also missed some of his tatsu>sweep combo. At 07:31 you saw that Daigo requested Latif to pick training stage as the BG which reduce the lag a bit. Anyone can confirm this?

@izwanhaiqal yeah, Fuudo talked about this in the the Cross Counter Asia interview and said he wanted to avoid the losers bracket stations as much as possible since they were the worst.. A lot of people have been speculating that the PS3 is responsible for lag inputs, but Fuudo is a PS3/N player and clarifies that's not the case. It really has to do with the recording and streaming equipment connected with the monitors.

I think what Daigo did was that he wanted Poongko to lose so he let Latif go up against Poongko. Seth vs Yun is 7-3 in Seth's favor so Daigo knew that he didn't stand much of a chance against Poongko's Seth.

Viper vs Seth, on the other hand, is more like 5-5. The even match ups between the characters let Latif stand a chance against Poongko.

People who say that Seth vs Yun is 5-5 are just a bunch of ignorant retards. The match up is clearly in Seth's favor.
