Okay okay, I'm gonna stop watching these reviews of this KRT: Kpop. Because this is my opinion.
As a Vietnamese-American citizen in Korea, If I were a formal from Korea, I haven't learned English for example, and my friend decides to show me a Pop song from America.. Well, I don't know what the heck their saying either, am I correct?
I don't even know why KRT: is popular on YouTube. It's unsophisticated, 5-18 age kids, being prejudice. VERY
I severely dislike how the kids aren't mannered enough.
Kpop is amazing and yes I agree, the asian men in them are SO SEXY!!! Hehehe XD and I agree, you don't need to know what they are saying to like the music, just like i'm not spanish and can't understand a word of it but I love the beat. Its fun that's all that maters, and the groups in KPOP are inspirational!!! FYI, I'm from outside of NYC in NJ and i'm white so well, i'm a singer and I like good music, I want to sing with many of them one day. Thank you for having nice things to say by the way!

music is universal!! and pop in general is still a good genre regardless of its language. you just gotta be open minded and enjoy it. music makes the world come together as a whole.

And, though there's a lot of Western influence is the music, there are many K-Pop idols and songs out there that are pretty original. I mean seriously, all music is based off of music. It's only once in a blue moon that something is 100% original. And yes, there are those fangirls in K-Pop that are annoying as fuck and spam every video they can find about their favourite idols or whatnot..

Most well-known singers in US such as Justine Timberlake, Britney Spears, Beyonce, Justin Bieber, Miley Cyrus, and more also are heavily marketed, re-packaged, produced, trained, etc, by an army of publicists, producers, managers, executive producers, marketing experts, song writers, choreographers, vocal coaches, etc. Commercial Pop music EVERYWHERE seem heavily "manufactured."

And yeah, most song meanings in K-Pop are no different then Western Pop like losing a girl or whatever, but I guess it's cause of the way they sing it. Unlike some American Pop where they rap about sex or whatever, K-Pop uses a lot more vocals in the music, even if it's just about a crush. I'm not saying that there's no American Pop with deep vocals, but look at the stuff we're listening to now, rapping about sex and random dubstep.
I'm from Finland and all I listen to is kpop. I can't understand a word (expect the random english words and "saranghae") I've never thought that that could be a reason not to like something. I just love kpop. Can't get enough of it

My reaction for the first time watching the KIDS REACT was not a great one... I literally had hatred towards those kids... but I thought it was a bit funny to get angry at these kids. I mean they are just kids who are probably in love with JB. haha It's their reaction and their opinion and for that I respect, but hate the fact that they compared 2ne1 to Lady Gaga. Now I see comments on their video about Gaga and it bugs the shit out of me! NOTHING NOTHING NOTHING alike.
K-pop is spreading around the world....and there will be more people following this great genre of music,......Music is a universal language.....it does not matter if we understand or not the lyrics...just feel the music in your heart. Some of us like Opera; and the language is not a problem to appreciate its beauty !!
I've been a fan of KPOP since 2007 and it's been a while. I was so interested in the Korean culture before and I always dreamed of teaching in Korea so it was just meant to be I guess
But it's the same thing with american music. Most of the countries outside of USA don't have english as their native tongue. Still everyone thinks its supernatural for them to listen to american music. It's all about the listener. Is she/he too lazy to look for the translations or simply doesn't want to know... ??? I love k-pop and I think it's much more meaningful than most of the american music. And it's not music, it's a lifestyle. +the variety shows etc. It's heaven for me. <3

Kpop is... amazing... I don't need to understand it, to understand the feelings. When F.T.Island, 4Men, 2NE1, Super Junior, SHINee sing, i can hear the emotion in their voices and i can see the talent. I love kpop and i don't care what people think. @KronosOffical Hey, kpop means korean pop music :)) It becomes really popular and there are a lot of people who like it. But it's a matter of taste. If you like ballad songs - 4Men, Park Hyo Shin, December and F.T.Island are your type of bands. If you like dance pop groups - listen to SHINee, Super Junior, SNSD, 2NE1, Big Bang or MBLAQ. If you like a bit of rock sound - F.T.Island for sure, Izi, C.N.Blue. I hope you'll like the bands and if you have questions, you can ask me :))
I don't like K-Pop songs, but I love the dances that go with the songs! Personally, I find the tunes similar and too upbeat or too slow. But that's just my opinion as I'm sure many others can't stand my favourite music, like Katy Perry or The Who. After all, it's just a matter of preference, and there really is no need to judge others for it :)
I love Kpop. I may not be able to understand a lot of what they say in the songs but, for me it's not the words that matter it's the way the performers deliver those words and the beat. It has opened up an entire world to me. Also, I think that it's good it's getting to be popular here in the U.S.

I love Kpop! I've been listening to it for about three years or so. I actually look up the lyrics and I'm studying Korean as well. I wouldn't say I like it cause of the beat and just for their looks but, I can see why some people would focus on that. I'm the other 50% of Kpop fans who actually look deeper into the music and we tend to look up to the idols for their personality. Anyway, I'm for Kpop. I don't bash on any cultures music...You like what you like ;P

i adore kpop and im a european :D And its stupid how people say they can't understand anything of it cause they can search the lyrics translations its not hard. The reason i got into it is beacause its very different, catchy, the songs are more innocent compared to american/european music these days( some of them talk about sex but not every song most are about pure love, seperation and other emotions other than sex which is the main picture now in american/european music)
Also, not all American music are about sex and violence. There are some kpop sons about sex too. For example: some of Taeyang's songs are about sex or "making love". "Take it slow" sex, "Move" sex. So these kinds of songs are actually everywhere. Maybe its more acceptable in some places more than others so we can't really judge them by their topic.

I am a kpop fan in NY. I like it partially for the catchy music and partially for the good looking guys. I'm a bit of an odd person to get an opinion from, though, because I grew up a white girl liking Asian things. I kind of like that it's starting to get popular here because it means we get more concerts and CDs and songs, but I also don't like it because that means more antis and more people hating on it/fans of it because that's what happens whenever something gets really popular here.

I'm American and I absolutely love kpop. I've been into it for about a year now, especially Super Junior and my ipod is filled with mostly kpop. XD The music has this flavor that you don't really get with American music and it's really interesting especially when you're able to learn something about Korean culture through it. And yes the people are beautiful, but they're different from American idols int he fact that they're more relatable and are very kind and attentive to their fans.

Unlike some American Pop where they rap about sex or whatever, K-Pop uses a lot more vocals in the music, even if it's just about a crush. I'm not saying that there's no American Pop with deep vocals, but look at the stuff we're listening to now, rapping about sex and random dubstep.

I don't like K-Pop songs, but I love the dances that go with the songs! Personally, I find the tunes similar and too upbeat or too slow. But that's just my opinion as I'm sure many others can't stand my favourite music, like Katy Perry or The Who. After all, it's just a matter of preference, and there really is no need to judge others for it :)

I love Kpop! I've been listening to it for about three years or so. I actually look up the lyrics and I'm studying Korean as well. I wouldn't say I like it cause of the beat and just for their looks but, I can see why some people would focus on that. I'm the other 50% of Kpop fans who actually look deeper into the music and we tend to look up to the idols for their personality. Anyway, I'm for Kpop. Also, not all American music are about sex and violence. There are some kpop sons about sex too. For example: some of Taeyang's songs are about sex or "making love". "Take it slow" sex, "Move" sex. So these kinds of songs are actually everywhere. Maybe its more acceptable in some places more than others so we can't really judge them by their topic.

I'm a bit of an odd person to get an opinion from, though, because I grew up a white girl liking Asian things. I'm American and I absolutely love kpop. I've been into it for about a year now, especially Super Junior and my ipod is filled with mostly kpop. XD The music has this flavor that you don't really get with American music and it's really interesting especially when you're able to learn something about Korean culture through it. And yes the people are beautiful, but they're different from American idols int he fact that they're more relatable and are very kind and attentive to their fans.
