  • el mejor como el nadie

  • this guy is just pure talent...you could just give him some buckets and glass jars to play and he would still be in the top 1% of all drummers ever..his fills make my brain hemmorhage

  • 240p, we meet again...

  • Wou!!! grande, es mi idolo este joven, es el modelo a seguir!!!!! grande Tony royster

  • this cat is a beast!!!

  • hahahaa.a.!! tony on imperialstars!!! oh god.. dats soo like my kit..

  • Guy Is Sick

  • My god, I feel so lazy

  • Sem palavras!!!

  • plz watch dylan elise!!... he's also genius at drums!! ^__ _^

  • @Janimany

    Yah !!

Travis barker + joey jordison are by far the most overrated drummer

They are nothing compared to Buddy Rich, Neil Peart , Tony Royster Jr, Mike Portnoy, George Kollias, Romain Goulon, Keith Moon, Jojo Mayer .....

  • @MrJ0k3rZ and chad smith

  • tony almighty

  • Wow....God was showing off when hen gave this man his talent!!!

  • he doing all dat with 1 foot in 1:29. dat junk is krazy!!

  • omg wth man. that's wicked sick. what a LEGEND.

  • 1:48 :o sickk hat work.

  • All of those shitty pop "musicians" should employ more drummers like this rather than putting them out of work using shitty machines.

  • if you don't know who he is you need to kill your self.

  • I cant stand this style of drumming.. what happened to intricate grooves/beats

  • @atl2maryland Oh Tony can groove alright! I guess you haven't seen those vids yet.

  • @phaethon1988 yea guess I never will because Ive seen dozens of videos from him.. great drummer tho.. I just think modern drummers with all this talent they have try to do too much and I still have heard their musicality

  • @atl2maryland

Well, as you stated, it is a style. And it all depends on what you define as musicality. Maybe there's a context that some fail to see about his drumming that may actually be infused with the utmost of what people call musicality.

  • @atl2maryland ... check out tony with Jay Z .... he grooves like you wouldnt believe

  • in ur face pridgens!!!! pridgen is such a show off... not like tony here... humble and everythng...

  • en una bata normal al fin

  • I wonder if he can play "wipe out". Ha ha!

  • at the age of -3

  • Is he really doing what I think he's doing at 2:40

*picks up jaw off of the ground*

  • bigdaddytorr1 nigga u trippin

  • am I tripping or is he doing that with one pedal?

  • hes doing that with 2

  • one pedal...from 0:46 to 1:36, you could see and hear his left foot planted firmly on that closed crispy hi-hat :)

  • you shouldnt go with price really, just what feels comfortable for you and what sounds good and has a good feel, you could have a kit worth 1 million but if your not comfortable and it sounds horrible then its useless. just go for what you want dude

  • Holly Shit !!!!

  • tony whould be the n1 ... he is so good and so young... 22 years........

  • OneThing i always enjoy about TONY is he can still slay even on a 5 pc kit

    Tim

  • if he can play on a 10 pc set of course hes gonna be able to play a 5 pc?you have have start somewhere.

  • Yes Tony can and others do but a LOT of drummers Ive seen playing on huge kits just get lost on a small kit

    Tim

  • Exactly. I would LOVE to terry bozzio get behing a five peice with just two crashes and hats. God that would make me laugh so hard.

  • @LittleLars14 well, littlelars, bozzio did study drumming for years with a minimalist 4 piece jazz-kit...

  • @LittleLars14 he would be like "the walls are closing in!!" lol

  • @LittleLars14 He would probably still be amazing on it. Just because he has a monster kit doesn't mean that's all he can play. :P

  • Tony Royster is most probably the best drummer in the world... The things he can do I just cant imagine other drummers doing. And I love Tool and Danny Carey and hes probably one of my favourite drummers, however hes not as technical as Tony, but his drumming fits into the melody of the song so well (hard to explain)... infact better than anyone.

  • Tony was taugh by Dennis Chambers, Tony can play ANY style.

  • Ridiculous single stroke roll at 2:30

  • Is that a joke? Tony royster has so much feel and groove. He's built on technique and probably a hell of a lot more versatile then danny carey

  • Danny is older drummer))

  • I like dw drums but pearl drums is my favorite pearl rock \,,/

  • rll? cool because pearl is a lil bit less expensive and i have one ... i cant afford a good dw xD i like pearl too... and i know one DW that cost 10 000 and i dont like the sound... i like but not for that price

  • such good foot control

  • sO FreAkiN siCk wiT iT...dAmN!!!

  • Amazing....................

  • jesus, this guy is a mutant

  • this jigga's ILL...NASTY...DISGUSTING....

  • Nice display of skill and grooves right there.

  • i used to liv e iin singapore

  • i wish i was there, like just 2 meters away from him, like that guy on the back. it would be AMAZING! too bad i live in mexico i dont think ill ever see him play live like those guys :(

  • dAMN tONy!!!

UR SUCh A AMAZiNG DRUMMER dAWG...

    KEEp it Up bRO!!!!

    itzz AWSOME yO'

  • maybe i spoke to soon, he had some good grooves

  • hes an amazing drummer,

i would just love to hear some grooves.

  • Sickness

  • bad ass at 1:40

  • holy shit that was fuckin amazing

  • it's a DW?? Tony we love u

  • 'living legend

  • he is so fluid

  • O.O

  • Alexandre

  • Hey that is my music sch. No joke ppl i was there when he played. Totally awesome. Rock on tony

  • Comment removed

  • hes one of the best drummers

  • nah

  • have you seen a lot of his video's? recently he's crazy good

  • Of course he is good. No doubt about that. I just don't think he is "the best" i don't think anybody is. Perhaps he might do the fastet singlestroke-roll on earth but that does not make him the best drummer right?

  • i 100% agree that there is no "best drummer" but he is really good just like all the other drummers up there

  • that bass drum sounds so good.

  • Wats good. I think this video was good. He showed all his different speeds and different beats dis is a good drummer. God Bless you Tony Royster Jr.

  • this is my favorite video of Tony hands down.

  • OHHH SNAPPZZZ i come fru mSingapore man, but now i live in Canada, but snapsss hes guud

  • He gave those drums a beatdown!!! Still enjoy the video he did when he was 12 yrs. old the most...

  • esta bien el chibolo pero es pura bulla, weckl es el mejor!! es mas tecnica....

  • Loser.

  • My favorite part is 1:39

  • This is at his clinic, Singapore Drumfest '07 isn't it? I was there, probably standing right next to the cameraman from my recollection of it.

  • wow that is so sick!!

  • Damn, this guys the truth.

  • mind boggling!!!he makes it all look too easy!!on another tip,,the cheap compression from the cam recording made drums sound cool!!!

  • i like how he looks around every now and then while he's playing

  • 2:40 wow just wow.

  • as a drummer myself, i can easily say this guys one of the best out there today... he blows me away, hes just incredible

  • he busted a dinnis chambers at the end !!!

  • muito bom

  • is great!

  • how can hebendhis hands so easily? he's really goood.

  • man that drumming defies reality.. I couldn't do that with 4 hands... It almost looks animated.. nice skillz

  • amazing talent but at the end of the video seems hed barely warmed up since he pulled the fancy stick

  • that groove at 1:40 is sik, he's a monster! that snare sounds rather tasty as well. Nice combo of groove and chops, I dig.

  • Yeah I love that groove man!

  • i have nightmares about this monster.

  • one thing about good drummers like tony is that they make it look effortless.some of those chops are unbelievable.oh well another 20 years of practice needed for me lol

  • that is rediculous

  • This has got to be one of the coolest solos I've ever seen in my life. I'd say a good 5 or 6 of those beats he's doing I can't help but wish I could do them and ask myself how he is doing them

  • przehuj !

  • but travis barker is much better ^^ no way..just kidding...travis barker is just the most overrated drummers of our time!

  • @Janimany I definatly agree!!!

  • @Janimany you're comment with 4 thumbs up is the most overrated of the century

  • @Janimany for sure... thats a shame! he's nothing to music.

  • @Janimany but travis looks so cool

  • Imba! Way to good!

  • this guy 1is definately one of the best drummers ever

  • look at his newer videos, he has 2 bass drums he dosnt use it excessively but it is there

  • one of the sickest drummers i know tony royster jr bro

  • Holy shit this guy is amazing! Keep rockin'!

  • Of course he is using double bass u retards

  • lol high five :) lets make hot sex

  • He's using a double, he's switching hes feet with his left foot from hi hat to bass. and his right foot for bass alone. that's double bass. But i think he put hard work and studying into the drums which make him the best drummer in the world to me. oh yeah, i am drummer also. so i seen a lot of drummers. keep it up if you read this bleachedquasar. peace

  • woooaaaaaaaahh..

  • is he using adouble bass

  • probably not

  • Yeah he uses double bass..

  • i know

but the question was, is he using double bass here( i think)

  • Yeah he does use a double bass pedal, the parts at :36 seconds is double bass, but the part at :47 is single bass.

  • The guy with the stripes thinks his good.

  • haha i was killin it there man. hadn't drummed for weeks!

  • Cause you're deffinetly Him.

    i believe you.

    Douchebag.

  • I hate you TONY!!!!

Damn, he is so good!!! son of a bitch... Why drums!! couldn´t you play Violin instead. . . i stink at drums because of you... and I´ve been palying since I was 12. . . and now i´m 38. . .

  • well start practicing harder and change ur thinkin

  • hahaha

get your act together before its too late

  • I honestly believe drummers like this guy go beyond a degree of accomplishment that say a guitarist is capable of. They are 4 brained is the point I make.

  • hes not that good...

    just kiddin..

  • Jammin all over the world baby! Tony Royster is da drummer man wit da drummer plan.

  • 1:29 WOW

  • seriously impressive

  • I love that kick sound....

  • craaaank xD

  • he is the reason im drumming. crazy dude.

  • I love his chops and stick work. and 22 years old. he's set for life with this kind of talent. he's up there with mike portony, dave wekle, neil peart, paul delong, rick gratton. I wish I had the time to dedicate to play this well.

  • tony royster is the sickest drummer their is man

  • You took the words right out of my mouth. SICK with all capitals!!!!!!!

  • tony is just totally awesome, n he's not using any double bass pedals..thats pure fuckin technique man..n he's like playing normal drum routine..look how relax he is..pure bliss

  • oh really? so when both of your feet are mooving and it makes double bass noises, hes not using a double pedal? look again bro

  • Not to poop yalls spirits......but he really has double bass, but i still think he totally rocks

  • oh no, yes there is! hahaha

  • no double kick pedal there!!

  • Watch 0:34. he clearly lifts his foot off of the high hats (you seem them spring open) And you can see his left foot playing the double bass.

  • Buddy Rich

    Gene Krupa

  • he scared me

  • he probably has tony the tiger for break fast

  • He earned those stripes!!

  • He's grrrrrreat!

  • hahaha that awsome

  • kat got chops! amazed.

  • GO TONY

  • Jordison sucks.. Barker is a joke. Peart is a genius.. Just not a soloer as much as Tony.. Tony is definitely the top of his genre. Imo Peart and Royster are the 2 top dogs.. Different styles, but that doesn't matter

  • finally somebody sensible...

  • interezante su tecnica muy buena

  • ...fuck...

  • ¨Crazy technique.. really fast and stuff like that... but the best part is defently 1:38 -2:10

  • he has very good technique and his young. plenty of time to develop his ability

  • I'd consider him pretty developed right now. Check out some of his other videos here. He's so good it's criminal.

  • o ok so just because he's black it's criminal

  • lmao.. You're a RACIST

  • rofl, u obviously dint understand wat he was saying....

  • you just got owned :)

  • Tony is doing a little bit of a Buddy Rich type solo here. Smaller than usual kit for him and he's focusing more on showing off his hand speed and cross-sticking ability. Before anybody get's mad I'm not saying he's as fast as Buddy, Just close.

  • awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!i love it!

  • yer and wat can a guitar do that would get anywhere near as cool as that??? NOTHING!!

    FUCK I LOVE DRUMS!

  • dennis chambers was his mentor. nough said!!!

  • Didn't know that. Great info and it's not shocking seeing how Tony plays. Tony may be better than Dennis at this point but who cares they're both great.

  • VERY CLEAN, i love how he broke down into that slow groove

  • magnifik!

  • Sweet

  • WOW you rock!

Check out my chanel for some more drum vids. xD

  • And yes, 'suggest' has 2 G's :P

  • Has anyone seen the video of wen he was 12!?

    It's actually amazing!!!!!

  • exelent doi, keep doin wot yous are doin

  • A speed demon! He is ill on a 5 piece!

  • He is a monster, but I don´t like most of his solos that much. I would rather like him to calm down a little and get more funky. That´s my opinion.

  • lmao he says he's beter than royster, and his profile says he's 13 haha!
