@DasherDeathNote@Nabilebraheim I started to wean off the crutches I can do a lot of things normally like walk upstairs and walk at a normal pace I still wear my knee brace though as I feel insecure without it but im leaving that to my physical therapist. I have little or knee problems. The only things I need to do normally in order to feel better are jog without limping I tried jogging once but I limp, walk down stairs, and fully bend my knee back. I am takin my time since I still havent gone
mind do this a bunch of times and now my knee want go down i have iced it and wen i get up i have craps in my cab muscles i go to the doctor and he just seen me t thephy how can i stop this from happening
@Nabilebraheim thanks I went to see the doctor no torn muscles or anything like that, Its been two weeks and I can support much more weight as well as bend it and walk although I do have a limp do you recommend still use the crutches or start to walk(Im kind of annoyed by crutches). The akward thing doctos say happened is that my knee dislocated inwards instead of outwards
This happened to my left knee cap. I was carrying on with my friends and then she fell over my knee somehow and it went dislocated, it's still sore but it's getting better , if it happened again will the operation hurt D:
I dislocated my right knee cap earlier today while at soccer practice I stretched my leg out while a teammate came running at me I felt it move to the left and I also heard a crack It immediately move back in place with a crack too. At first I could not move it I had to put ice in order to be able to bend it. Besides ice is there anything else I can do?
im also receiving tylenol with codein, about three days ago i went to see my doctor and she removed some water and blood around the knee to reduce swelling. the swelling has gone down still, but im wondering if in a week and a half will i be able to return to gym class and run again or will it take longer? I know its a long comment but thanks for reading!
Tuesday September 30th about 2 weeks ago i was riding my bike and i wiped out and dislocated my patella. I was brought to the hospital by ambulance and was given x rays. nothing semmed ripped or broken, so they gave me a brace which i have been wearing ever since. A rested for a few days and missed three days of school. I got krutches and the swelling went down a lot ever since. I went back to school. the pain has gone away but i cant bend my knee yet and im taking anti inflammatory pills....
@nabilebraheim Im 17 yrs old and I dislocated my knee last year while playing by twisting it. My physeo put it back into place but there was an osteochondral medial fascet fracture, and the chipped bone had to be removed via keyhole surgery. After 6 months I got back to sports but just 2 months in, I dislocated it again while playing football. Is there anything other than weights i can do to recover properly. I love sports and dont want it to be a recurring injury. Will sports Sports rehab help?
@ChillingWithGod ...Do not continue playing sport if it's a reoccurring injury! I dislocated my knee caps 5 times and eventually had 7 operations to fix them, including putting in 2 screws and re-aligning my legs. Now my sports are very limited, so get it seen to before, like me, it's too late. I love my football aswell, but now I cant play it because my knees cant take it. GET IT SEEN TO OR REGRET IT LATER mate.
@nabilebraheim no, I didnt outgrow it. The first time my knee bukled or gave way with me was when I was about 8 yr's old. I made me fall down but it went right back into place on its on. After that, my knee would bukle or give way on me periodically throughout my life,,mostly if I took a wrong step,,or accidently step on something,,a rock..stick or anything that might turn my foot the wrong way,,it would make my knee twist. But it always pops back immediately into place. It just hurts real bad
@nabilebraheim I did have an x ray a few years ago,,there was no damge done inside my knee, The doctor gave me a knee brace and suggested I do exercise to make my muscle stronger that might help my knee..My knee hasnt twist in a long time,,but Im always aware and careful with doing arobics or any type of activity that might make my knee give way.
