  • Awsome tap routine you are great at tap dancing

  • People Who Tap Dance Fast Are Sometimes Always The Best.

  • Get those 3D Glasses on everyone!!!!

  • And this is why I don't get tap. Timing is awful yet everyone loves it. Time surely is the most fundamental basis of all music.

  • can you make a video explaining each step, I think i got the beginning the end was a little hard for me.

  • omg you are so fantastic i have been doing it for 5 years and hope to become as talented as you are!

  • @alicecullenvampyre Thank you so much, what a nice thing to say=) I'm sure if you keep practicing you'll be even better than me=)

    thank you

  • @zac613 those are off beat time steps, hope that helps=)

  • Check out my tap steps!! Comment Vote Subscribe

  • There are a few parts where the timing of your steps doesn't match with the music tempo but it's a pretty nice coreography =D

  • omg i danced with Louise too! I actually only stopped because it got too hard to keep up w. work and homework(high school) but I was actually wondering if you know the name of this song? I am possibly tapping in a benifit show at my school and this was the dance i wanted to do and i can't find the song anywhere! I have no idea what it is called! if you know that would be really helpful :) thanks!

  • @Redsoxgurl1207 The name of the CD is 42nd Street (2001 Revival Broadway Cast) track #2 "The Audition." Good luck=)

  • You are sooo good! Your timing is killer - flawless triple time steps, girl!! I just tried to watch this number in the Busby Berkeley movie and could only find an incomplete version in the middle, a rehearsal bit when Dick Powell gets yelled at for being a bad dancer..I wonder if this is actually in the Busby Berkeley version in its entirety. How did you learn this? I'm going to watch this many more times. Thanks for dancing on youtube! -Sara Regan, Sally Mack's School of Dance, Portland OR

  • @saraor Thanks so much for the kind comments. This routine was actually choreographed by my dance teacher who was a Rockette in the 40's. Thanks for watching=)

  • does tap dancing get your beating fast????

  • did you make this up by yourself. i love to tap and i'vebeen doing it since i was 6 i'mg ood too i just dont know how to coreograph but i am a fast learner. i wish i had coreographing skills. you should hlep me!!!

  • impressive ... =D if only the beginning was a bit more challenging then it would be perfect =D

  • wonderful sounds, small suggestion, break up ur shuffles more beginning @ 2:11, ur steps and shuffles are running together, but other than that awesome job!

  • i love in tap when u can take simple shuffles and scuffs and make amazing beats. i love to tap. right now we are working on a new solo for me :) i cant wait for the competing season for me. i want to perform on broadway :D thats my dream.

  • Very cool, best of luck to you :-)

  • How long have you been tap dancing?

  • very nice balance! i have started up tap but then had to quit due to scheduling difficulties, i always wanted to get those dif. combos!

  • boogie shoes!!! :DDDDDD

  • that time step is rather different to mine you do a brush where i do a shuffle... why is that i wonder???

  • There are probably a million different types of time steps. I guess it all depends on preference and the style you learned. As long as you're having fun with it, then it's right. Thanks for the comment.

  • So true, i actually do a stomp instead of the shuffle. I think it gives a nice start to the step. :) Peace.

is it hard to teach yourself tap??or is it one of those dances that definetly needs lessons?? id love to learn....

  • I would say that tap is one of the more difficult dances to learn because it is so intricate so I would suggest taking a few classes. Thanks for the comment:)

im 16 and i have been tapping for about 9 years... but i cant wait to be as good as you!

  • Thank You:)

  • You are an amazing dancer! I am new to tapdancing so I have a question, is it important what you do with you're arms and hands while you're tapdancing?

  • Thanks for the comment and to answer your question... I feel that it is important to always have strong arms while dancing. If you take ballet or jazz it will help in development. Happy Tapping:)
