  • Its so small. YET SO LOUD!

  • get a proper tamiya drift car

  • did it cost 15$ or 50$

  • were'd u buy the car from

  • @ShufflingInPublic Thanks

  • I have a Trueno; but something weird happens when I turn left. It gets stuck So I looked at it, and took it apart, cleaned it .. But now it sticks to BOTH SIDES. It only goes straight when I counter steer out of a turn.

It's very hard to drift in these because the tires get worn out super quick, too. I may have to do a review, myself.

  • @JohnnyElsewhereTV Try some form of lubricant, like a small amount of cooking oil? I find that the steering doesnt pull the wheels back to straight, but a small spring does, so maybe the friction is to much? just an idea

  • how much is this? can u pls show me the link to but this?

  • @7474hacker Have a look on Ebay, there are stacks of them for sale, and different models. i paid $50 a while ago. price may have changed since then.

  • @RemiMatt thx~

  • I just ordered a Tomy drift RC car, myself. Can't wait to get it. Great review, though!

  • @ShufflingInPublic Search greenlife :D

  • where exactly did you buy this rc car

  • @tekhunterx I bought it from ebay, a lot of the packaging was in japanees, but dont let that put u off. It is heaps of fun for its money. although mine doesn't drift to well anymore, i still have a bit of fun flicking it into 180 spins, and just as a normal rc car.

  • i would say xmods are better but no longer about tuner cars... xmods were good when it was tuner cars n.muscle cars then they spoilt it...

  • @Steele Glad i could help, my car is starting to get a bit worn out now, and i think i will have to retire it pretty soon, but they are a great little car, and i defiantly got my moneys worth.

  • @RemiMatt what do you mean 'worn out'

  • @justin0981 after 6 months, of on and off use. the tires are now a bit grippy, they arnt as smooth as before. having said that i am driving it on a fairly rough floor. that is about it. if i can find some spare tires it would be asif it was brand new. great thing about these cars is that u can pull apart the gear box's and remove any dog hair, dirt etc. that maybe jamming up the works.

    hope this helps

  • look this car looks great! but is a rip off. for 50 bucks at least where i live. you can get an xmod which has full proportional steering and throttle! and the range is wayyy farther than 4 meters. you can probably get a cheaper one of eBay. and they come in a different range of models. and they also have a wide variety of upgrades.

  • @baliblades XMods suck. Discontinued for a reason. Bye bye, Get a 1/10 scale car and leave the little cars alone.

  • Hey all, I would like to thank everyone for watching this vid, I have just reached 600 Views of this review, so epic thanks to everyone. Feel free to ask questions and I will try to answer them as quickly as possible.

    Thanks again.

  • @MyRidgeRacer

I cant say i have ever had a fault with the car, I bought my girl friend the silvia, and it worked fine. best/ easiest mod to do, is put the antennae inside the body, makes it looks so much better, and less like a toy. Im pretty sure that the silvia is the same car inside and its just the shell thats different. i bought both from Ebay and worked pretty good.

    hope this helps

  • I have the same car. But I have mounted as put in the instructions (leading me by the pictures, because some Chinese / Japanese I can speak ...)

But when trying to put the batteries do go, the car does not respond, no motor response.

The batteries are charging, the engines run out of the car and am in the same frequency in control and in the car.

We must do more than give the switch ON / OFF to make it work?

I think my car may have damaged the electronics or the station. If not, do not understan

  • @Benavidex

I think i under stand what you are saying.

I had a problem when i put new batteries into the car, and it got no response. all i did was take out the batteries blow in the battery bay, and put the batteries back in. if that doesn't work, it may be faulty

  • @MyRidgeRacer Thanks, for its price it looks really nice. the spoiler tends to come off when i reverse into things at speed, but otherwise its cool.

  • dude ur actually a good drifter who the hell said ur bad

  • @SNIPERLEGEND234 Thx mate, i have gotten better but after about 4 months the tires are becoming a bit to grippy, so yeah, seems i cant buy any extra tires either. still a great toy though

  • dude ur vid keeps glitching but nice vid

  • @SNIPERLEGEND234

thx man, not sure why it glitched like that, i filmed it on my $2,000 SLR camera. i think youtube stuffed it.

    but thx for the comment

  • Thanks for uploading, great review. I think I want more than 3 directional steering, and more than go,stop, reverse speeds. But yeah, for $50 it seems like a nice car. I guess I'm going to have to spend a little more for what I want. Like $200 over at Atomic Mods, or somewhere else.

  • @greenfalcon12345

yeah, if u want to do some real drifting, i think save the money. this is a great toy, but at the end of the day thats all it really is.

after having it for a while, the drifting hasn't really gotten any better then in this vid, maybe its just me though.

    thx for the comment.
