3 Steps Forward and 1 Step Backward on Left .. i saw this drill from one of your workouts ... i was wondering ... when you do it: do i run 3 steps nd on my 3rd step on stop on right leg then hop back on my left leg then accelerate again?? please help !
@StrongerTeamDotCom So on the 3rd step I stop on JUST my right leg [on one leg] nd then when i step back on my left its only on my left [one leg again..] ???
@StrongerTeamDotCom My bad coach Rasmi played for us at Christ Church School in G-ville SC got a scholly from Elon in '04 really enjoy all the help you give us through these vids you post. ordered all 3 of your DeMatha sereis should get it this week
@lps88 No, moving through a speed ladder quickly only improves your ability to move through a speed ladder - completely different 'skill' than playing basketball. If you want to improve those specific traits, you have to practice those specific traits! However, using the speed ladder can help improve coordination, spatial awareness, and ankle mobility - and those traits can give you the potential to move quicker on the court. Sorry if that is confusing!
@StrongerTeamDotCom you said these drills promote coordination, concentration, rhythm, and ankle mobility. I'm asking if quickness is also promoted by these drills.
@GATORBOI1221 Yes, you will improve your quickness at running through the speed ladder... but won't necessarily make you quicker on the court... if that makes sense...

does this help with the quickness of our feet? if so, does that mean we can drive by people more easily, and/or be quicker when playing defense?
