I played an opening set for Michael Burks in San Diego about 8 or 9 years ago.Great player,kick ass band and a really cool guy.He even told me that he dug my guitar [USA Washburn CT-3].

just saw this guy live at the Sedalia Blues Fest, he's even more awesome live!!! no kidding, he's my new favorite blues artist/guitarist! on stage he's just so intense and really just tears it up, and his band mates are great as well, just a great band.

alot of his tone comes from the Dr Z amp he uses :) check out his live stuff he probably has a simple ts9 or something

Just the Dr.Z and a compressor. I have talked to him about it. He has a big peddleboard but he said he never uses anything else.

not bad ! very akin to the great Wilson Pickett's version, voice not as good as though. WP had Daune Allman on guitar,

athough I prefer this guys sound.
