  • This was my favorite music in this game. So many memories...

  • Wow, this really sounds like it could be out of a Kirby game.

  • Argentina was my shit here.

  • The begining of this soundtrack sounds like megaman and at 0:43 it sounds like Double Dragon II lol

  • Such a nice, catchy and happy tune

  • my favourite ringtone

  • bumpy field... DOING!

  • Oh my god, how much I loved this game. It's waayy too addicting for an 8-bit football (or soccer for you americans) game.

  • Hey, SupraDarky, you know Tempest 2000?

  • This was so much fun!

  • You're always so good to find hidden 8-bit gems! Nice one, SupraD!

  • great song and great game ^_^ i sure hope this will be re-released on the wii virtual console sooner or later

  • i remember this game very well, so much fun when a i was a little kid. knocking out players on the field withe the ball FTW!!

  • What a coincidence, I'm watching the New York Red Bulls take on FC Dallas and I find out that you posted a Nintendo World Cup song! This is one of my favorite NES games and I want them to make more soccer games like this. But for my money, the best music is the second World Cup match music (the one that plays against Russia, Spain, and England). Gets you so pumped up!

  • Aaaah, one of my favorites! Remebers me at one day in my childhood... 4 Guys, 4 Controllers, Multi-Pad-Module and this Game. And then... Lets Kick it! We played 2 vs 2 at this day, screaming at each Goal, even when the others land one. It was just pure awesomeness. Thanks for remembering me back, Supra!

  • I played this game so little I barely remeber it, but even then this song was stuck in my head for a long time

  • Glad this one made the list, among my favorite nes tracks :D

  • This music is sounding in me like a Kirby's music

  • How can a song that I just heard for the first time (probably) feel so nostalgic? Man, I loved the upbeat tones and fast rhythm of it all, simply amazing!

  • This gotta be in the top 10 best NES songs, and I'm not saying this lightly!

Thanks Supra for putting this up at last! (even though I listen to this song a lot already... ^_^ )

  • Never heard of this game, i did play Super soccer on the SNES and i liked that. But this game looks fun, saw some pics.

  • i loved that game so much as a kid. my friend had it and at first he would never tell me how to do those crazy super shots. i mostly played it to knock out the other players anyways.

  • Friggin Germany supershot :(

  • @SupraDarky

Upload Black Belt - Boss Theme, from Sega Master System. =D

Hokuto no Ken actually, but it came out of Japan as Black Belt...

    Love your list!

  • @DMonkey123 He doesn't take requests.

  • You sir, are epic.

    I'm glad that I subbed.

And this game was a lot of fun as a kid. With 2 player "season" and 4 player action.

Too bad I just only got the game and not the "multitap" or what ever it was called.

And oh! This music brings back good memories, or sad memories because my brother was better than me playing this game, so I always lost xD

  • sick one

  • Too bad I never played this. Hey, I can fix that! ::flies off to nearest rom download site::

  • I still have the game too right in my desk drawer =)

  • My brother and I would always play cooperative mode with the U.S. team. Argentina was so hard to beat in the semi final match with their ridiculous speed they possessed!!!

  • Wow this takes me back. I used to play this game a lot. I was always hoping this game would be released on the Wii VC.

  • Was this the game that you could knock players out if they got in the way of your special bicycle kicks? OMG I haven't played this in sooo long... and it was so fun!

  • sweet, 8-bit music in 1080p

  • Wow...your channel's always great Darky but the last few have really been above par! (Or is it 'below par'...since it's a golf analogy is less more? I don't know.) At any rate, take it as a compliment cause that's what it is. :)

  • My brother and I would play this all the time as kids...stupid ice field.

  • I love how with old NES music you can tell by the style which company produced the game.

  • I didn't know Kunio-kun Soccer was sold by "Nintendo" name in the US...

  • @yonenaga yeah they slid that past us didnt they?

  • This game was so amazing. A + B for the insane bicycle kicks! Hell yeah =D

  • @xSamuox i like how each special did diffrent moves. It reminds me of that movie with steven chow was it shoalin soccer.

  • Gotta love these old 8-bit epics! Just goes to show that while the games themselves can get outdated, their music is timeless.

  • I have this game on a collection along with Mario and Tetris. I've never tried it since I tend to stay away from sports games in general. But I may try it eventually.

  • This was such a fun soccer game, even if you didn't like soccer in the first place. I played this game a lot as a kid, I was a big fan of the super shots that had unique animations. This game was definitely an inspiration for Mario Strikers.

  • @SupraDarky Speaking of Strikers, that game has tons of great tracks ;)

  • @SupraDarky FOOTBALL!!! lol
