I miss my quaker parrot, too bad I can't have one in Cali ;_;

@yakurimoe Thanks, he is a sweetie. He loves music. Everytime he hears music, singing, or me singing a song, he starts bobbing his head and tapping his foot. He's just got music in his heart.

Oh god this quaker is obviously from a loving owner, it's just a bundle of love waiting to be pet and cuddled! :D You seem to be a great owner too, so even if it got lost at least it found another loving home with you :D

these quaker do not like being on human hands no matter how close you are with it it will tend to bite until they're are old enough to understand learnt that the hard way but we're so close

I love how he's just waiting to get pet and fluffs out before your hand reaches him, so cute! I used to have a couple and whenever they wanted to get petted they'd fluff up a lot too.

you are amazing for caring for this bird I have also found a bird on the street and was unable to find the owner (it was a Lovebird and not very friendly).

I actually got my first Quaker last week about 6 or 7 weeks and i Love my baby so much. Any advice for me Ive had multiple loves and a conure. but now its only me and Chewy.

@dalsch I lost my bird, But mine was a boy and was certinly not this one :) Because mine had his wings clipped and wasnt fluffy like this one :) Its so sweet its such a loving bird :3

Well, I am in the minority here, but I really don't like the name sweet pea, I think hollybush, holly for short, would be the best name. That is, if you keep her/him/it, her old owners must be very upset :(

@TreyRust I know - I posted ads on diff sites and said 'found bird', but got no responses. It may be a male - so holly would not do - thanks for the suggestions.

@dalsch yeah, its hard when you find someone elses baby and have no way of finding their home, its not like you can just post a "found bird" ad, because then you couldn't tell the people wanting a free bird from the real owners... and if it is a boy, then I really don't think holly would be good either, lol :D but aren't you worried that sweet-pea would give him a inferiority complex? and cause him to become a very not sweet-pea? imagine all the damage that could be done here! lol

@kriiterkeeper24 I have a screened in patio. I had a few vids on here with them outside of the patio on a big tree stand, but only while I was out with them. I haven't done that in awhile though, especially since there are 2 big beautiful hawks that took up residency in the empty lot out back. They are very beautiful but dangerous to my birds, so I won't be doing that anymore.
