I literally just bought mine on Tuesday and it is amazing!!! I love this car. I got the 5 door hatch SES in tuxedo black. I love the push button start and the Microsoft Sync is very easy to use along with the bluetooth connectivity! But My favorite thing about this car is it's incredible handling and smooth ride! Wait that's two things. Ah hell I just love everything about this car. Especially the MPG!!!

Ford is prob the only rival to european and asian vehicles, gm has reliability issues the public is well aware of, but it looks to me the new ford models are able to age well.

I have the SE sedan, upfitted with most of the SEL fittings, except the leather seats...special ordered "Al La Carte" to get all the goodies minus the leather! Great car!

The new Focus looks good. The current Euro Focus is an excellent car, but a little bland in appearance.

I'm no GM fan, but I must admit that the new \Euro Vauxhall Astra is a nice looker.

@80skiwi wait until the new 2011 Ford Focus =), i love both cars in fact i have both at the moment, but my father always had Ford's so im kinda a Ford Fan, but that doesn't mean i can't appreciate other cars such the Opel Astra, Honda Civic and other cats in the segment :D, that model of the Fiesta came out in 2008 in Europe its a great little car, i recommend to people who are single and teens who just started driving ;D

Ford reminds me of the sports team who started slow in the early part of the season, but have won their last 10 games straight. Yeah, they are now the team to beat and they've suddenly the favorite to win it all. They'll have this car, the re-designed Taurus, the legendary Mustang, the Fusion, the F-150, etc. And just wait until 2011 when they roll out the 2012 Focus. ....that car will be another winner for them. Just flat out great vehicles...Bravo Ford!!! I drive a GM, but not for long.

Frustrating that it's taking Ford so long to roll this car out in the states, especially since VW are expecting to roll out the new Polo a year ahead of schedule. It's collected a lot of accolades. Narrowly missed out on the world car of the year award in 2008,but it won the prestigious What Car? award. Where I live in

New Zealand, the Fiesta has won the NZ Autocar car of the year, and the New Zealand car of the year awards.

According to UK Autocar, the Fiesta has redefined the supermini. The slightly larger Euro Focus is also regarded as the benchmark in its class.

The Fiesta is a driver's car - good dynamics, fun to drive. The car is well spec'd for the price.

@colderbeer I seriously doubt the new Taurus catches on as big as it once did because it's simply overpriced and marketed more as a "luxury" car than its former name plate was. I wouldn't have considered a Taurus before and likely wouldn't now due to its price tag and large size. It's too big a car for many people when mpg is what is paramount now. The Focus doesn't even have that good of gas mileage for its size. The Fiesta would be an option for me when I can finally afford to buy it.

You would have to compare this to a yaris or a fit but its a clear winner.

I like it. I do wonder why Ford felt the need to simply not follow the Euro version and keep the round fog lamps instead of the angular (ugh!) shape. If something works, just leave it alone for Pete's sake.

Agree with you. The fog lamps look better.than the LEDs. Ford should have at least sought to retain the round shape of the lights.

Very impressive. they packed a lot of features in for the price, quality seems to be on par with the original. Sorry Honda .. the Fit just got smoked. I didn't think the dual clutch and push button start would make it, and if it did, then only at the highest trim. Ford just brought their A game .. nice!
