m17 .. Ever consider that it wasn't "a few" rockets. It's over 8,000 rockets over 7 years. If this was happening in your home town you'd demand that your govt take action. So in fact it's you who are both ignorant & a hypocrite.

If Israel liked killing Palis we wouldn't bother with laser guide rockets. We'd carpet bomb Gaza flat & call it a day. We wouldn't send our boys into danger.

A few homemade rockets? Last yearover 5000 were fired. During ww2 Germany fired thousands of V2 Rockets at London. The RAF responded by carpet bombing Dresden and Hamburg and killing over 200,000 people.

gemwocoj, maybe you should do your history. It's the Jews in Palestine that are the immigrants(90% of them). They were not chased out of Israel some time in the past, as you suggest. There was no land of Israel. There was a Kingdom of Israel in the north and the Kingdom of Judah(jews) in the south. Your views mirror what I used to believe of the situation in the middle-east, but i would urge you to take an objective look and investigate further. All the killing must stop.

wrong. the jews in germany were at the forefront of science, technology, medicine, art, music etc etc. They were contributing to German society to such a degree they were actually defining it which pissed the Germans off and made them scared of the Jews (see Mein Kampf) The jews in Palestine were being attacked by Arab farmers who were afraid that the influx of Jewish immigrants to the land would lead to a Jewish state. This is what lead to the Arab / Israeli stand off and todays situation.

Sorry it took me so long to write back. I think what the Israelis are doing is a mild form of ethnic cleansing. It straddles the border line to where you can't fully call it ethnic cleansing. I, myself, define it as the destruction or expulsion of a particular type of people through means of:

1. Killing of innocents based on race

2. Destruction of non-military infrastructure

3. Control of air, land, and sea supply routes

4. Capture, control, or arrest of democratically elected political figures
