trampoline murdering = best murdering. shooting people on motorbikes while impressively defying physics is a close second. precision kills through various barriers (ie glass, gauzy curtains, and validated rage) is easy third
@bleushift Let's not pretend any sort of character acting a la Schindler's List has any place in an old school Hongkong action flick. Dolph may not place a performance in a deep drama movie, but one thing's for sure; his acting is ENTERTAINING.
And for what it's worth, I actually honestly feel his performances in the latest Universal Soldier movie from 2008 had a couple of nicely acted, dark scenes. And he sort of comes off as a nutcase in The Expendables. I approve.
@bobbyhitsbakk009 John Woo loves blowing up motorcycles! See: Mission Impossible 2, Hard Target, Hard Boiled and most of the other films he's ever made.
This is really cool! I've always wanted to know the kill counts from Dolph Lundgren's movies.
If anyone tries to do The Defender, phew, what a job to count all those kills! That movie is like the video game Time Crisis --- basis, KILL ALL BAD GUYS! LOL!
And I definately agree with that movie list. Also to go on it, IS The Defender, Dolph's first directorial movie. Missionary Man, The Mechanik, and DEFINATELY agree with Command Performance, I can't wait for that.
I just saw this dirty movie called Death Race...which is pretty awesome, thought im not sure if that's a good one to do a kill count. oh and can anybody tell me what the expendables will be rated?
I have always liked Dolph Lundgren, I like the fact that he can make a good action flick and never be concerned with the crititcs. I recommend the following D.L. flicks for your enjoyment.....
Men of War is especially good since it's practically unknown. See also The Russian Specialist.
The Punisher and Army of One (aka Joshua Tree) are excellent action entries that far too many people haven't seen. Masters of the Universe is simply crazy for being a kids film.
Those pretty much go without saying. They are all awesome action flicks. I especially love Dolph's crazy turn in Universal Soldier. Hopefully his role in The Expendables will be just as good.
Coming out this year (and it looks to be pretty damn good) is his latest film COMMAND PERFORMANCE. Put it on your "To See ASAP" List.
Slightly overlong TV movie but still great fun from John Woo, he should work with Dolph again. It's a shame because John Woo never got used to his full potential in Hollywood and he is now making different types of movies. Chow Yun Fat and Woo should team up one last time!! Another awesome killcount though!! Can't wait for the next!!
They seem to do action well together. But yeah, Woo and Chow should get together again. I was saddened when Chow left Red Cliff. Stranglehold was good fun, but I want another movie.
When in doubt? Blow up some bikes!!

This not the best of John Woo I prefer face/Off and Paycheck but the action from this movie is great
Feetandfuture2015 11 months ago
@Feetandfuture2015 It's true, though one can blame the tv production values here. With Paycheck there was no excuse.

John Woo always uses Motorcycle goons when he runs out of plot.

No rating for The Expendables has yet been announced.
As for Death Race, I preferred the original film with Stallone and Carradine.
