maul should have had more background and stuff on him. He was one of the rare and few who MASTERED the 7th jedi technique! The other person who mastered it was Windu. They technique was risky for both attacker and defender since it required the most demanding feets. IT also was the "unpredictable" move, which literally meant u were unpredictable!

Also, poor grevious, I think more movie fight time on him would be awesome but after Windu severely injured him, he was sucky after that. ='(

Agreed. Lightsaber wise, Maul would've been outsmarted by Count Dooku/Out Maneuvered. If you ever read the novels, Dooku was the only ever lightsaber practitioner known to have defeated Mace Windu in a Spar. Mace Windu was the best Lightsaber Duelist the Jedi Council had at that time. Plus, Dooku used a lightsaber form known as Makashi (The Ancient lightsaber dueling style) and mastered it to its HIGHEST degree. Sorry to burst your bubble, but Maul wouldn't last long against Dooku.

Yeah, Sidious feigned his defeat to Mace in order to win Anakin over to the Dark Side. If you read the guide to Star wars character, Darth Sidious is the most powerful sith lord ever, he could actually create Wormholes to destroy fleets using the force and could teleport people from half a galaxy away. I doubt Mace would have defeated him if Sidious actually tried, and it says that Yoda knew he was going to his defeat which is why he didnt let Obi go after him instead of Anakin.

He could also corrupt an entire planet with the Dark Side, or destroy it just Like Nihilus does.. infact, he was a thousand times more powerful than Nihilus and the ancients combined. If he wanted in Ep6, he could have just ended Luke with a single move.. but, as it is said, Sidious became over-confident in his abilities.
