It's an MMO, high end graphics do more harm than good. Besides, it's still got much better graphics than the most successful MMO out there by far, so it's not an issue...
looks alot like the mass effect system, game seems to be reliant on auto targeting which is a good option when you need to be able to shoot and talk but be able to distinguish between friendlies for both.
A Large aspect to the aiming is a focus system that requires you to have a certain amount.
For example if you come under heavy gunfire and your trying to aim on a enemy unit your Focus will be suffering and result in missing quite often or not being able to hit them at all.
To fix this there is a large element of cover in the game so by gaining cover behind an object in the world you can monitor your open areas and in the process regain focus enabling you to fire from cover safely
that is awsome i hpe my beta sign up is still working on there site because this looks like it could be a good new multiplayer game for me to get into other than WoW of course
If you get chosen then playing the beta will be free, but it won't be once the game goes live. Just search Stargate Worlds on Google and their site should be the first one that comes up, you'll find all the information you need there :)
You may never get an answer, there are thousands of people who have already applied and they're letting them on slowly. On the other hand they're allowing them on at random, so it could be tomorrow too.

Doesn't work like that. At the moment they're having real trouble finding enough funding to get it off the ground, and if they can't come up with it then it won't be released.
Again though, it doesn't work like that. If the funding dries up, then they'll have no choice in the matter. You have to remember this isn't MGM whose making the game, it's a separate new company that MGM have sold the license to, and if they get in trouble then they have to deal with it themselves.
It's because it's an mmo, the spaces need to be large to accomodate all the players. Look at WoW, the trees and steps etc. are ridiculously disproportionate in size compared to the characters, but it's a necessity unfortunately.

Doesn't work like that. At the moment they're having real trouble finding enough funding to get it off the ground, and if they can't come up with it then it won't be released.

Again though, it doesn't work like that. If the funding dries up, then they'll have no choice in the matter. You have to remember this isn't MGM whose making the game, it's a separate new company that MGM have sold the license to, and if they get in trouble then they have to deal with it themselves.

It's because it's an mmo, the spaces need to be large to accomodate all the players. Look at WoW, the trees and steps etc. are ridiculously disproportionate in size compared to the characters, but it's a necessity unfortunately.

there will not be ant personel on the sgc.
only gen.hammon and 1 another man.
there will not comme people in and out from the stargate,rmember YOU are the starate groups.
there is and attack on the sgc in the beginning of the game. and your quest is to get a gun and defend the base.
and eventualy,shown in the movie,be lucky and find crates with bether weapon.

This game looks cool. I hope it doesn't turn out to be a guy A hits guy B kind of game. Realism when concerning firearms would be cool.
