  • top three movies that i have seen from 1994

    1.Wes Cravens New Nightmare

    2.Dumb and Dumber

    3.Speed

  • Oh a truck

  • I love dis movie because its have robert and heather, but sorry to say dis movie not really goods. the first one and the remake is the best nightmare on elm street movies.

  • Uneven trailer....brilliant movie.

  • Comment removed

  • freddy is't the best...there is not assasin like him..i wanna be like him

  • Is freddy krueger in this movie

  • I love Nightmare!

But this is the only one that scares the shit out of me!

  • 1:18 HUGE BONER!!!!

  • @RockstarHQ1 Insulting Heather? U jelly of her talent?

  • This movie is total crap, the leading actress has no acting skills and Freddy `s new look and stile are fuking stupid.

  • @RockstarHQ1 Why take the time and comment when apparently no one gives a fucking shit? And even more apparent, thousands of people like heather so your opinion is over ruled. Deal with it.

  • @RockstarHQ1

    Youre full of shit brah

  • I like the remake better there more realistic than al the originals of anoes

  • This movie was a great change after NOTS 6, that's the stupidest movie ever... Really? Killing with a videogame?? Freddy's Dead is so stupid like Chucky's Child...

  • esta es la que mas me gusta!!!!!

  • Killing off Nancy was the worst mistake the ANOES series made. This is the best film, only second to the first. I don't understand how you don't like it, maybe you can't grasp the concept?

  • @Zilex1000Productions Are you talking to me, or someone else?

  • Very good movie, EXTREMELY suspenseful, and one of the best in the series... but overrated because only its good parts are remembered. This movie could've been much better. 1) The premise of evil needing to be contained by making another movie is... well, dumb. 2) If this is the pure concentrated form of Evil Freddy, why the trenchcoat? Why so few kills? 3) Why did Freddy, as usual, have trouble killing Nancy? He either sneaks up on and/or dominates everyone else. 4) Hansel and Gredel? Really?

  • @ProduceMan117

The trenchcoat IIRC was how Wes Craven initially envisioned Freddy. Why the final Freddy design lost the coat who knows. It was also an attempt to restore Freddy back to being less comical and more menancing which the canon movies were falling away from.

  • @ProduceMan117 If anything, this movie is underrated.

  • Oh shit, it's a movie about, making a movie about making a movie! Movieception!

  • jesus this movie is over a decade old, do they need to have a damn commercial infront of it?

  • 2:10

  • I'm happy to also say that Nightmare on Elm Street (Original), Nightmare 3, and Wes Craven's New Nightmare were absolutely the best and my favorite in the series for the simple fact that Wes Craven wrote all three scripts.

  • 1,3,and 7 were the best of the whole series because of 2 characters. FREDDY and NANCY.

  • @icemen120 And because Wes Craven written all three scripts.

  • Is this movie Ture Story

  • @Banna981 No.

  • @Banna981 if it was a true story, we'd all be fucked.

  • @Banna981 could you imagine/ we'd be fucked lol

  • Approved for all audiences? Bullshit.

  • great trailer. especially like the fact, that they DO NOT show freddy which makes him more creepy. the idea itself of the script still impresses me.

  • I remember my dad taking me to see this movie in theaters back in '94 when I was 13... I HATED it!! Why? Because I thought it was going to be a continuation of "Freddy's Dead" and 30 minutes into the movie I knew it wasn't going to be that...

Now that I'm older and understand what the movie was suppose to be... I must say...

    THIS MOVIE F*CKIN' RULES!!!!

  • top 3 best nightmare on elm street movies

    Nightmare on Elm Street

Nightmare on Elm Street 3: The Dream Warriors

    Wes Craven's New Nightmare

  • @roboguy75 my list from best to worst

    1. Dream Warriors

    2. The original

    3. New Nightmare

    4. The Dream Master

    5. Freddy's Revenge

    6. Freddy's Dead

    7. The Remake

    8. The Dream Child

  • @Teenlego remake should be very last dude

  • @daspoon456

I like the remake about as much as I like the weaker Englund Elm Street Films. But I definitely prefer Parts 1, 3, 4, and New Nightmare over it by a wide margin.

  • @roboguy75 Are you serious? New Nightmare was the worst installment to the Elm Street series.

  • @hackleback have you seen nightmare on elm street 2 and 5, those movies were terrible, still, I say the original, dream warriors, and new nightmare are the best, but if you don't like it, that's fine

  • @roboguy75

That's exactly how I rate them.

  • @roboguy75 freddy vs jason was also good

  • @roboguy75 definately!

  • The Fourth wall just got raped.

  • wait...wasnt the mom in one of the freddy kruger movies too? ahaha thatz so cool ( : wat movie was she in before this one??

  • @Silvia4Realzz HEATHER LANGENKAMP played the original Nancy in parts 1, 3 & 4... She returned here to play the role of HERSELF (actress Heather Langenkamp) and Freddy Came into life to truely get her and her son!

  • My favorite Freddy Kruger movie

  • I loved the remake. It touched more on Freddy's personality in his life. But I still love the original just as much. The concept is brilliant and evil! I can't sleep after watching these movies. I never get nightmares, but why risk it? Am I right?

  • THE 1,2 FREDDY'S COMING FOR YOU SONG IS SOOOOOOOOOO ANNOYING! It's so cheesy and dumb when someone sings it!

  • i have to say, i wasnt into this as much. It just threw me off a little. STILL LOVE the first 6 Freddys!!! infact im downloading them all (minus this one) and watching ASAP!!! Happy Halloween Freddy

  • so THATS why there are so many sequals and remakes :O

  • Never seen the remake of Freddy, and never will. Wes Craven is the best, and his Freddy movies were EPIC!!! Not gonna waste my time watching a fuckin remake. PLUS Robert Englund is THE ONLY Freddy Krueger.

  • Watched it for the first time yesterday and it's now my favorite out of series next to the original.

  • Nancy freaked at 1:37 because, they had to make one more...It got dumb after 4.

  • 1:19 BONER ALERT!

  • "This, is god!"

  • LOL When Miko (Heather's son in the film) first saw Robert Englund in Freddy make-up, he ran straight into his mother's arms coz he was so scared by it. LOL

  • I prefer Freddy vs. Jason better, bc it's the only newer movie that has the "real" Freddy. I wish they would continue it like they are supposed to bc Freddy wasn't dead, and really can't die bc he's a evil spirit and for crying out loud, will someone like alter Jason's DNA so he dies? He's just another Mike Myers. He's another human with a mask and a machete. I hate horror films, but there is just something special about Krueger. In fact, all Krueger films are my favorite movies.

  • Great film, and my third favorite of the series. Allowed the franchise to end with a high note and dignity. (Something fellow horror franchise HALLOWEEN would've done had they ended with H20 and not made RESURRECTION)Freddy was darker and more serious, Heather Langenkamp acted (and may I add looked) her best in the whole series. Wes Craven's idea for this was brilliant, and fits very well with the metaphysical nature of the series very well. Great film, and I stronly recommend it to all fans.

  • I like this movie but its kinda confusing.

But still it has great acting.

  • this one was probably the best of the nightmare series and i have the box set

  • this movie is crazy at the begining man freddy... wait no spoilers tehe

  • the only one I like is the 1st one.

  • If you haven't seen them all. Watch 1, 2 and 3, then watch New Nightmare. 4, 5 and 6 weren't scary, they were just funny.

  • I mean compared to parts 2,3,4,5,6 or how many other ones they decided to make which I didn't even bother watching, this one and the first one are the best of the best!

  • this one sucks!,

  • Nice to see that they continued it even though the 6th one specifically said he's dead. Idiots....

  • @marcster1994 Dude... did you get the point of the movie? The movie is about that he is dead and there will be no more movies... then he comes to the real world and begins killing the people behind the film....

  • keep pressing 8 lol jew jew jew jew jew jew jew

  • Am I the only one who thinks Heather LagenKamp is fucking hot in this movie? I mean she is gorgeous since NOES 3

  • Never watch this movie. This movie is god awful, and the worst of the series. Why Wes Craven came back, I don't know, but he is not a very good director. He did a lot of horror movies, but that doesn't mean all of them were good. Heather Langenkamp is one of the worst actresses I've ever seen, and although her acting is better than the original, it was still pretty bad. Watch the first movie. Watch the third movie. Maybe watch the fourth. But don't watch this, it is damn shit.

  • @ScottOrKaze no its not in my opine it is a very very good movie me and my mom wach it last night and i wach it when i was 6 years old and no nightmares for me

  • the series should have ended with the first movie. The second one was O.K., but even that is pushing it.

  • @GothChilde6969 The second movie sucked and was the worst movie in the series... the third, fouth and fifth was good when the sixth was ''okay''... havent seen this one yet

  • @thegrouchboy the series got worse with each movie. that's my opinion. the second one was "ok but that's pushing it" meaning "it's okay if you consider poking your eyes out with a fork okay."

  • @GothChilde6969 I just watched this movie yesterday and have to say that it was pretty bad when you look at the other movies in the serie. But i dont think it became worse and worse. I enjoyed every movie exept for this one and the second. and yes... i would rather poke my eyes out with a fork than watching the second one again...

  • Bad acting, ridiculous history, Terrible movie.

look i really like Nightmare on elm street, but this one just sucked bad

  • Funny how the best nightmares all had Heather and Wes involved, that shows without them Robert is the only one holding the films together.

  • nightmare on elm street and this film are thee best nightmare films out there. so save your money and buy these only

  • great movie hard to explain the plot to a freind SOMEONE PLESE HELP ME GIVE ME A SUMMERY SO I CAN TELL MY FREIND WHEN I TRIED TO HE LOOKED AT ME LIKE I WAS CRAZY

  • @mothman1997, I stick with the basics, like, "Freddy is trying to find a way to come out of the films and into the real world." I remember the movie making sense to me when I first watched it. But if someone had tried to explain it to me before I'd seen it, I probably would've looked at *them* like they were crazy too. I definitely know I've had trouble trying to describe it to other people in a way that made sense. I usually end up just saying, "It's a good movie. Watch it."

  • @mothman1997 LOL First off, LOVE the username, 2nd just say it's about Freddy becoming a real life monster and going after the actors and crew from the films! That's kinda what I've been telling my friends.

  • @aliensharkboy thanks

  • Heh, great trailer... didn't even have to show freddy in it!

  • WES CRAVEN rules!

HEATHER LANGENKAMP & Robert England were awesome! Robert England should have been FREDDY still! and Heather couldnt play teenager Nancy anymore but tjey should have given her a nice role in the movie like the mom of nancy! ryt?

  • @heizgoth u r so right

  • Great movie! Spooked me at the cinema!

  • this movie permanently make me hate black and red stripe eversince i started watching it when i was a kid

  • This gives me goosebumps, I'm gonna have to see the movie again soon. It's my favorite part along with the original one

  • This was one of the best sequels of the series!! I loved all the sequels to the franchise except maybe 2. That one was my least favorite.

  • what a stupid idea for a movie i mean what were they thinking?

  • I cant believe I am still getting messages regarding this shit film. And those people are the first to say I have no life? Man you little bastards go ape shit for this stupid movie. Your idea of horror and being scared are different than mine. The last time I was scared watching a horror movie was when I was young and watched The Excorsist. Why cant the make scary movies like that. Dont be gay over Wes Craven. I liked the first and second movie, but nothing scary about it. Just entertaining.

  • @Briar5559

Horror isn't always about being scared. I love horror-movies, but since I was 16 or so, I have yet to see one that scares me. Ju-on scared me back then, and The Ring did, those were the only 2 horror-movies that ever scared and they did so when I was young. Still, I love the genre. Nightmare 1 was meant to be scary, I doubt 2 was (as stated in Never Sleep Again: The Elm Street Legacy). The rest is just fan-based entertainment. New Nightmare was a good ending.

  • @Briar5559

It wasn't anywhere near the first Nightmare, but it was a hell of a lot better of an ending to the series than the shit Nightmare 4, 5 and 6 were.

If nightmare really scares you to this day, you haven't watched enough horror movies. maybe I'm just desensitized to horror (thanks to my mom loving horror and taking me to horror movies when I was a kid :p) but I'm still looking for a movie that actually scares me to this day... If you know one, please share.

  • @SSTTEEAALLTTHH Yeah there bucky read a bit and THEN reply. The nightmare series never scared me. Just entertainment at best or worst. I was young when I watched the Exorsist thus is scared the Christ into me if anything. Dont know if anything this day in age scares.

  • this was by far the BEST Freddy movie

  • Does anyone know the name of the song that is used in this trailer?

  • I don't know about you but I am sick and tired of these shitty Michael Bay remakes!!!!! Here's my idea. Wes Craven directs a new direct sequel to the original (like Halloween H20). Heather Langenkamp returns as Nancy its the present day, and she has a son with a girlfriend who are breaking the slasher movie sex rule. She's spent her whole life helping her son learn to control what happens in his dreams.

  • About halfway through the movie Nancy is killed in her sleep (a meaningful death not like Jamie in Halloween 6). In her will she has a recording for herself for her son that say's only to be opened in the event she mysteriously is murdered in her sleep. He watches it and its her explaining Freddy. Since he can control his dreams he can control what Freddy does and has to stop him before he kills his girlfriend and his other friends. And only Robert England as Freddy. And not a fag movie like #2

  • @southparkfan2717

that's a great idea for a new nightmare sequel! you should take it to wes craven.

  • @southparkfan2717 nancy has been dead since part 3 im sorry about it but great idea :) and yes michael bay remakes do suck i told my cousin i wanted to punch michael bay for every movie he ruined but he said i should problably bring a lunchbox becuase i wasnt gonna be done the first day XD

  • @kallemick I know my idea isn't going to happen, but it would discard all except for the first one.

  • @southparkfan2717 okay well i still think its a nice idea espiecially because it would be without michael bay directing XD

  • @southparkfan2717 YESSSS well ima film student n i wanna be a horror directror n trust em ill make original classics n I WILL DIE BEFOR EI LET THAT TRANSFORMER COCKSUCKER MICHAEL BAY TOUCHIONG SHIT

  • @southparkfan2717 that actually sounds like a good idea, now finding Heather is the issue....

  • @southparkfan2717 Then what will the title be?The Dream Child 2?

  • @southparkfan2717 too bad her character was killed in the 3rd nightmare on elm street movie

  • @29leapyearbaby No that's why you reboot it. All the other movies never happened.

  • @southparkfan2717

This film was the big return of Wes and Heather to the series, and they did a great job on it.

  • @southparkfan2717 dude the first Nightmare film was sooooo cheesy but it's still a classic! The original and this one are the ONLY good ones in the entire franchise! Friday the 13th is a better "Franchise" because it doesn't get old and it's not always the same stuff! I love the Nightmare series but I wish they showed Freddy battle it out more!

  • If only Wes Craven had written and directed all the Nightmare movies. Most of them are pretty terrible except the ones he was involved with. 1, 3 & 7.

  • @Pmccaff2009 & @Briar5559 -I'm watchin this for the first time on British tv an hour from now, just killing time b4 the LA Dodgers bet. I hope it keeps me awake!

  • Best Nightmare Ever.

  • This movie scares the hell out of me.

Because even though that is still robert englund that plays him.

they dressed him up to be more evil and scary then the other ones!

  • wow wes likes to put a movie into a movie in this movie freddy chase the actors that made the movie(i dont think i like that i mean you dont have the illusion that the first film happened) and in scream 2 they see in the cinema stab the events from the first scream

    HAHA WES ROCKS

  • wtf was that an interview or plot line?

  • @dylibbo I think it was both

  • This is my favorite Nightmare! :D

  • Watched this one last night never seen it before as I seen the orginal loads of times-a real dissapointment for me...............

  • i think i just s**t myself :P

  • This 1 creeped me out more than the original, and believe it or not, i like more than the original!

  • This one scared me more than the first movie.

  • LOL, if this movie is exactly what its premise says, does that mean Robert Englund gets killed by his own character?

  • I'm surprised so many hated this movie, I loved it, it made freddy scary again, a lot more darker than the other freddies

  • Scream -1 XD

    good movie though

  • the movie was good but the only reason i didnt like it was becasue it ruined the first 6 films and freddy vs jason because they never happend and if freddy vs jason never happened it means that friday the 13th never happend ether.... :P

  • @DANDANXify of course none of it really happened lol but i know what you mean

  • @DANDANXify None of what you said makes any sense.

You clearly didn't get the movie at all.

  • lol i was watching this and the little boy at 1:04 says "can you come with me in my dreams" and then it pauses cause it wasn't fully loaded being immature i was thinking he said "can you c#m with me in my dreams" lol

  • @drphillshoe The fact you censored the word Cum makes you sound about 9.

  • @Pmccaff2009 ik for some reason i thought it might get flaged or something. i wasn't thinking :P

  • I'm just asking this because I never saw it but does Robert Englund ever meet himself as Freddy?

  • this 1 was a little interesting in how the concept was what it was--i actually love this one just as much as the previous 6--i love them all the same, and yes, that includes freddie's dead, the final nightmare and nightmare 2--freddie's back--i don't care who thinks those 2 sucks-lol

  • @pbf316 your awesome lol i love em all yay

  • @locolops lol--thanks--you too---i love the bus on freddy's back--the old school 80's bus-lol--it cracks me up everytime-lol

  • @pbf316 i realy liked the second

  • I'm so confused!!!! I've already seen the movie and i know they where talking about the making and how freddy came to life but why did people start calling heather nancy and what was going on with the little boy??????Can someone explain this movie to me??? Btw even though i didn't get some of the movie it's still pretty good and the people on rotten tomatoes liked it to :D

  • @Knet911 Freddy in the film was a demon that lived in the fims. After the films were over the demon manifested itself into reality and tried to kill Nancy ( Heather Langenkamp) It however was not really Freddy Krueger.

  • @Knet911 its takes place in the real world......where nightmare on elm street is just a movie...................well basically freddy is tired of being in movies soo he decides to come into the real world and stalk the elm street cast

  • That actress who played Nancy, Heather Langenkamp is very pretty and she's a great actress, I can see why Craven hired her.

  • Lol yeah, and he was more serious when He played, and it added to the whole effect

  • What? This is just confusing! But can't wait to see it! :)

  • i love this movie! LOVE IT! no one can replace Robert Englund as freddy! he's the bestest :)

  • @respectmypretty Jackie Earle Haley is pretty beast

  • @huney132 is he the one who played freddy in the most recent freddy movie?

  • @respectmypretty i second that

  • Number 1 was said to be real good

Number 3 was amazingly epic and my fab

    This one is truly AWSOME

  • i dont think this is the real trailer really i cant believe this is the real trailor yeah the only way to stop him is to make a new movie oh yeah right this is a fak trailer but the movie is real

  • This movie looks shit

  • this movie would of made more sense if it was brought back around now dont you think?

  • this is the best 1 out of them all

  • well the remake sucked but the new freddy was not bad really so stop hating !

  • 1,2 freddy's coming to get you 3,4 lock your doors and hope he dosen't find you. this movie i awsome

  • This is by far the best and VERY under rated.

Everyone goes on about how Number 1 is the best, come on it isn't THAT good.

    Number 3 was epic.

This takes the gold though, It's so original, no one had ever done this in a horror movie and it was brilliant.

I would of loved if this movie had been released TODAY years on after Freddy VS Jason in 2003 aswell, it would be more brilliant because it'd be like the actors would of been older and it would of seemed longer since we last saw Freddy!

  • This is my favorite Nightmare movie, it was a smart way to bring him back, it made Freddy into a more serious killer like he was on the 1st movie instead of a guy that joked around, it seriously made Freddy scary again, I really cant see why most didnt like this film.

  • what I hate, is they made this THEN Freddy VS Jason. Completely screws with the fictional universe.

  • @GrendelBoglin The kinda did that with Friday The 13th as well. They made Jason X and then made Freddy Vs. Jason. It makes you wonder what is up with the timeline jumping around.

  • @rEyZder Well Freddy VS Jason is a Midquel, which takes place before films. But this I dislike, because it takes place in a totally different universe. In earth, in our own true as can be-Fictional earth. Then they change it back to their universe. And I dont even like New Nightmare ._.

  • Judging Freddy entirely by a trenchcoat he wears? That's very narrow-minded. The fact is this Freddy was probably the most vicious and angry of all the movies. He seemed really pissed off and had absolutely NO TIME to kid around with punchlines. The character was awesome and the only way they could've justly revived him was to transcend the bullshit sequel-based storyline the franchise wound up to be. This movie wasn't bad at all. It had a really great premise behind it, if you open up to it.

  • This is my favourite one.

  • Comment removed

  • Why is Freddy wearing Neo's clothes in this movie?

  • @MrThePandaman Don't you mean why is neo wearing Freddy's clothes in the matrix movies ?

  • @joshxip Neo is cooler, and his clothes are more iconic, so he transends time to be the one who is being ripped off.

  • @MrThePandaman But Freddy still was the first one
