personaly id like to say thanks for the post, i statred listing to some of your stuff becuse im a huge parker fan but i saw this guitar behind you in a vid and thought wow thats a beastly lookin guitar so thanks for the info
It's so obviously not maple. Check out ANY other bass lab guitars, or better yet, their website. They make the guitars out of a composite resin, meaning the whole thing is hollow. Makes them damn light, and also makes them have a beautiful sound.
I can understand trying to promote or sell a guitar, but how the hell would you expects from us to hear the guitar's sound and resonance/sustain with firstly the EMG pick-ups (high output ) that kill most of the instrument's sound and secondly with the digital processed awful sound that your are using.I don't mind the personal taste but when it comes to guitar sound at least we should be honest.
yeah I wouldnt even note the sustain as a selling point for this particular instrument unless it can atleast compete with a typical les paul and nothing in this video suggests that
Both of these instruments sound really good. BassLab is really trying diferent things right now, so as for now I would prefer Parker's playability, but since BassLab does custom wor, you can ask for anything and they will do it. One thing that BassLab does and that I love is that their instrument is made out of one piece which gives you an amazing sustain.
Basslab's instruments are among the bestg of the world, and their innovative manufacturing process is sometimes suroassed by its radical designs. I just hope to at least see one with my own eyes sometime. Way to go!
just curious, how much did this guitar cost? the words "custom made" and "germany" tell me it's really expensive.... lol

@ExternalTooth I don't know, they sent it to me for free to record a Glass Hammer album. I returned it though...

I love 1:45 part:
"sustain is just amazing"...

@Edgeraze I admit that I didn't know much about guitars when this video was recorded.
Plus my tone was horrible!!

@RADIUSZEROONE Find us an investor and the
prices will go way down! ; - ) Right now every single
instrument is 100% manmade and that is outrageously
time-consuming.

@RedWingedAngel Not maple at all. It's a hollow-
bodied instrument made of a very lightweight synthetic
composite base engineered for perfect tone without
the organic flaws of wood which always result in
tone warping and deadening. It's a new technology
called nano-composite tone engineering.
