Another spectacular gem. Out of this world. It's not just the incredible synths, but the whole thing. The electric guitars, the piano sequences, the drumming... I have been listening to this piece since I was a kid, and it only continues to grow on me. I am always amazed at what a productive period the years between early 70s and early 80s were in electronic music and sad that it has not been repeated. The stuff from that period is from another dimension.
That is one of my favourite songs, anyway, next to cyclone, ricochet, tangram and horizon, but it is a little sad to have no pics, paintings or vids/visuals,but yes,if you are closing your eyes, wow!!!
@wastedtimefr 100% correct. I love that section of the song. I was in the Caribbean about a year ago and I hadn't listened to the album in a while. When it got to 11:56 it suddenly clicked again for me. It seemed like I had listened to the same section a million times but it just kept getting better. I kept replaying it over and over, staring out over the sea. It was just one of those moments that the music made so much sense. I've been a TD fan for 22 years and it just felt new again to me.
The complete Force Majeure track finally, but without a real animation, the music is good enough to stand for itself. Good memories, one of my favourite albums from TD, specially the second part after the "train" , moods, sequences and beautiful inspiration for the theme.
I don't know about anybody else, but whenever I listen to this album I see a clear, slow-motion picture of a Huey doing a dustoff in Viet Nam. Jets fly overhead, there's marching, etc. And I was never there.
@RichieFZ So do I! Actually, it has grown to be one of my favourite TD albums and I own about 30 (including the bootleg box sets), mainly from 1970 to the early 80s. Go figure... :)
and this is from 1977? our forefathers were more advanced than us, FUCK YOU BIEBER!!!

I like all the track, but the part that blows my mind is between 12:00 and 16:00. The melody is just so nice...

Spectacularly good track this and a massive return to form after the rather disappointing Cyclone album.

Es gibt bessere Stücke von Tangerine Dream, wie z.B. Rubycon. Dieses Stück klingt für mich etwas abgehackt und zerstückelt.
