  • "Maybe the bus knows" - made me laugh =)

  • lomp

  • to this day there is no such thing as "perpetual motion machine"

  • @white99chevy WOW, thanks for the enlightenment, I never would have known!.

  • The inventor of this "gravity wheel" "perpetual motion" devise was not Gudgel but rather a man by the name of Charles Edmund Spurlock, a local lumberman who worked on this wheel he called the Ezekiel Wheel for over forty-years with his family. He worked on it to the detriment of his business and his relationships.

It never ran of its own accord... Go Figure!!

The LA Times has an archived article on this fellow.

  • @seasick2140 My apologies to the Spurlock family, for not making a 'correction' video. I actually heard form the grandson of Mr. Spurlock, who informed me of my error. He was very pleasant and invited me back and said he'd be happy to show me around.

I'll get on it, but thanks for the post.

  • Man, all these years I thought it was a ferris wheel.

  • Perpetual Motion Machine is balogny. Words used don't even mean what it describes.
